   I visited this shop about a week ago, shortly after moving to the city. Being new and still settling in, I was using my 4x card for the first time in this location. I bought just a couple of items , a sanitary napkin and some milk ,and went to the checkout as usual. When I handed over my 4x card for payment, the staff noticed it hadn’t been signed yet. I understand that signing the card is mandatory, and that was my oversight, which I acknowledged. I immediately offered to provide other forms of identification or evidence to prove the card was mine. Unfortunately, what followed left me quite shocked and upset. The cashier called over a staff manager and began discussing me in front of me, saying things like ,she looks strange' and making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I felt judged and singled out for no valid reason, especially when I was calmly trying to resolve the situation. It came across as discriminatory and dismissive, rather than helpful or professional. Being new to the city, this experience was particularly distressing. I expected understanding or at least courtesy, but instead, I left feeling humiliated and deeply upset. I hope the staff will be given guidance on how to treat customers respectfully, especially when a situation calls for a little patience and empathy. I genuinely hope no one else has to go through an experience like this.

   Can't argue with B&M. Mid to L Lower end merchandise for fair prices. Confectionery is competitively priced. Lots of different lines. Went there for a plastic storage rack but the shop is doing Christmas so the stuff I wanted wasn't there. Good shop though.
