   We went for my daughter's wedding reception and had a family style dinner. Not knowing what to expect, since we were from out of the country. The Hawksmoor completed a perfect day for my daughter. The food was amazing, the servings were more than ample. The timing of every course was impeccable. We never felt rushed, we felt welcomed to be a guest. The pricing was great. I cannot say enough good about our experience and recommend to any and everyine

   This was our second visit to Hawksmoor, but we had a gap of a year or two between… clearly absence really does make the heart grow fonder! The service was pristine and as attentive as ever, the drinks expertly prepared and well balanced and the food speaks for itself! Half a lobster to start (no picture, too nice to wait!), ribeyes with several sides which were all incredible, and two fantastic deserts with a paired glass of tawny port! Ever bite got better and better, and while you might find a cheaper steakhouse you will struggle to find a better one!

   Brilliant steak. Lovely staff and a really cool vibe. Some of the things on the menu were not available due to a busy lunch so what can you do but what was available my wife and I loved. Cocktails were top class and the wine selection was supreme. My one slight critique was that the food itself took a little longer than I would imagine it takes to prepare and serve but it was worth the wait for sure. All in all a great experience.

   Went as a couple during a trip to Edinburgh. We booked via OpenTable, but on arrival, we weren't in the system :( The place was packed, but the lady at the front desk found us a table just over an hour after the original booking. I can highly recommend the bar next door's French 75 and Old Fashioneds to help pass the time :) I had a 950g porterhouse, medium, with a good charring. It was delicious. Pink and juicy, melt in the mouth stuff, with fat rendered so it dissolved in my mouth. I think my girlfriend enjoyed her food too, but I was too distracted with the beauty that was mine :D

   Visited Hawksmoor while in Edinburgh and wanted to treat ourselves. The atmosphere was slightly upscale, and the service was friendly, though at times a bit elusive. Tried the ribeye steak — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. My wife really enjoyed her chicken and sweet potato as well. Overall, a great spot and worth the visit. Saluti.

   This is one the best meals I’ve had for a long time. The restaurant is situated in a very grand building, with an opulent foyer that’s perfect for photography. The restraint itself has a dark, luxurious decor, and isn’t too loud even when busy. The menu is typical steakhouse stuff, but executed brilliantly. My pork ribs (starter) and fillet steak (main) were both fantastic, perfectly cooked and very tasty. The sides are also good, though the Caesar salad is a little small. They also have an interesting cocktail menu with a wide variety of tastes. The passion fruit cheesecake is a little small, and surprisingly has no biscuit base, but is pleasant nonetheless. Expect to spend up to £100pp if you’re both having 3 courses and drinks, but it’s a great place for special occasions. The staff are friendly and attentive.

   Really great place to have steak. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is also nice. It's a great place for a day to treat yourself. When you order your steak you can ask what size steaks they have so you aren't necessarily restricted to the menu which was a nice surprise. The sauces were also really good and did not overpower the steaks. It is slightly on the pricer end but it is definitely worth it for what you get.

   Amazing Sunday roast! Rump steak is spot on. Had a choice on how we liked our beef cooked; we obviously opted for pink. The massive Yorkshire puddings are insane and very photogenic! I’m also impressed with the gravy, was just the right thickness.

   The setting this restaurant is in is immaculate, walking in you can see that it is already set apart from other establishments. The service is exactly what you expect too & I'm a big fan of the glass coming out cold, it's the little things that make the difference. Decided to go with the roast and was not disappointed, now to just make a visit to my local Hawksmoor

   Oh my, the best steak dinner we’ve had in a long time. Their starters, especially the beetroot one, was so delicious. It was well seasoned and full of flavour and it looked aesthetically pleasing too. The steak was extremely good, so tender, so well cooked. Great staff members, good atmosphere, we had an absolutely lovely evening.
