Great service and beautiful, colorful presentation of entrees! They also have a dog menu available. Don’t sleep on this one.

Extraordinary place with welcoming owner and delicious food! We literally just drove by one day and decided to come here with our puppy. Owner offered very warm greetings and took great care of us; offered our puppy some water as well. Will definitely come back again!

Came to Scotland for Holiday and had 2 meals here, breakfast and lunch. Met the owner, Paula, the first time we came in & she was nothing but welcoming. Even gave me a hug as she noticed I was absolutely freezing..She treated us like family. Her staff both times, were incredibly kind, service was fast and food was hot & homemade. Great menu with fresh pastries. HIGHLY recommend for anyone to stop in for a cozy meal, who wants to feel at home. Posted below is their homemade macaroni and cheese with bacon and chips, as well as their Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon & flat white coffee..Also very accommodating for reservations. You can find a spot on their website to make s reservation & Paula responded to my inquiry quickly..We were 15 minutes late due to traffic from Glasgow but the staff seemed incredibly happy to still greet/serve us.

The place is lovely and staff very nice. Although I had to ask for my water twice and for spoon for my soup. Pizza was quite disappointing, no flavour and very thin. The soup was very nice (Cullen skink). The salt and pepper squid was nice but portions was quite small. We might give another chance in the future. To note they are very accommodating to kids and gave us some children books and high chair

Absolutely stunning food and gorgeous service. Faultless on that front. A but I had some difficulty booking- email address advertised bounces back emails so I ended up phoning. This place is SO good- it would benefit from an online booking system and a more comprehensive website. I didn’t know it was BYOB for example- this is an amazing way to have excellent night out at an excellent price. Locals love this place (that’s how I heard about it)- but the fan base could be so much bigger with improved accessibility online!

First time visiting with my friend and our 2 dogs and was very impressed. Food was lovely. Staff were lovely and the efforts made to please customers were beyond anywhere I've been in a long time. The dogs are well catered for too with water, dog beds and lots of TLC. Would highly recommend. A great wee addition to the area

I popped in to the Bistro for a late lunch. Thought I would try out the new place. Boy was I surprised! Their all day breakfast was VERY high quality. Real thick cut bacon, home made sausage, home made baked beans, a properly poached egg, sourdough toast (with butter), garnished fresh tomato. All for under a tenner. In a world of chain store cafes selling mass produced food, it was great to find a local Bistro creating proper bistro meals! P.S their coffee is also better than Costa's (IMHO).

Lovely food and a great addition to d mains! We had a delicious brunch today, particularly good are the eggs Benedict and the homemade sausages. We were visiting with our two year old and the staff were fantastic with him, definitely a kid friendly cafe!!
