The doner kebab was like a bad relationship. At first, it was just tasteless and dry, and I didn't know how I was supposed to eat it. I don't recommend it. I also think they tried to rip me off because they asked for payment twice. I wouldn't recommend it; get your doner somewhere else. Or get something else, like haggis.
Humble bunch of lads …. Really nice atmosphere….. food was nice and service was quick …. Would highly recommend if near the royal mile as halal food shops are few and far between in Edinburgh town centre….. well done to the lads serving
Review: Yum Yum Restaurant – An Average Experience On our first visit, we ordered a burger, and it was absolutely nice and tasty — a great start. However, when we returned the next day and tried their dinner, it was a bit disappointing compared to our first experience. The prices are average, and the place itself also feels average overall. While the burger was enjoyable, the consistency in food quality could be improved.
Had late lunch here with a pal, we had a veggie pizza! Very tasty and hit the spot, a perfect snack while exploring Edinburgh. Affordable price as well as professional servers, definitely recommend
4/5 stars! Absolutely delicious food at Yum Yum Restaurant! We ordered the Chicken Spicy 12" Pizza and the Chicken Meat Kebab with Chips Platter, along with soft drinks. And oh my god, the taste was SO GOOD! The pizza was spicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The kebab platter was generous, juicy, and tender. We loved every bite! Highly recommend Yum Yum Restaurant for a satisfying and tasty meal.
I got a terrible food poisoning, with symptoms lasting for 1.5 weeks, after consuming food from this place. There are no hygiene standards in this place.
Ordered a kebab wrap and received the smallest portion I have ever seen. Almost £8 for what looked like 200-300g of donner meat. Tiny amount of salad & sauce. Very dry. Won't return
I think this is one of the underrated place in old town. The food is awesome. There are variety of options from swarms, falafel, pizza, doner kebab, burger and Munch box! It's a special find just round the corner. PS: I don't think the current review does justice to this place! Enjoy!
