had a all day breakfast and it was average at best definitely not premium ingredients (like they say on sign) and chips have no place on a fried breakfast, wasn't that impressed with some of the staff either guy that served me on till was ok but lady that cooked and bought me my breakfast may as well just dropped it down on table no smile no hope you enjoy your breakfast she just put it in front of me and walked off and wasn't asked once if everything was ok with my breakfast and when I went up and asked for my bacon crispy all i got was a grunt too busy chatting to her friend, a paying customer obviously not that important, not impressed really they do some nice cakes though but much better places for a really good breakfast

A good place for the great elders. They come here for shopping and spend time chit-chatting with old friends. They also enjoy breakfast and lunch here.

The location and the interior is nice, quiet, and comfortable. Unfortunately the service and the drinks don't follow. I ordered a frappΓ© and a cold coffee. The lid for the coffee wasn't good, didn't keep the coffee inside. The frappΓ© was too smooth and kept moving around like a melted coffee. The cook was cooking hot food on a hot surface. They had a tong with yellow plastic sitting fully on the hot surface, melting the plastic right on top with the food... Highly recommend going elsewhere.

I stopped off here to have a bite to eat and catch up with my mam whilst I was in the city. Serve was ok, served quickly, food took a while to arrive. However when it did it looked amazing and was at a decent temperature. It tasted amazing. The shop was busy but the atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. There was clearly locals that were regulars and greeted warmly by the staff.

Food was good staff seem nice but the system to place an order is backwards. You move all the way down to the till to then place an order with just one member of staff. Then get your drink in my case coffee from the same poor staff member. And wait quite a long time whilst someone else goes flys out the kitchen and makes it back up by the front door. Iβd drank my take away coffee by the time food was made. Stood Waiting by the till. Also prams seem to restrict your space to wait. Bit of a rabbit hole this place

I have always loved Boswells breakfast but I have noticed poor customer service recently and thought this was due to the cafe being a busy one. I have had my order (extra toast) forgotten on two occasions recently but today was the height of it. My food was served by a lady with black hair and black head band, and as I was eating I found black hair in my food (see pictures). I let her know and she said she will speak to her manager, shortly after a lady came and dropped some cash on my table without any word, I said I do not want the money and she walked out!! No apology or comment, I do not need the money, your staff should be careful when preparing food, I wanted to offer advise that those preparing food should consider a hair net but no one wanted to listen or have a conversation. I left the money on the table and left. You have lost a customer and although it may not make a difference to your business, I will not tolerate this.

We went for breakfast, cake and coffee today. Both food and drinks were lovely. Very generous portions. Place seems very clean and staff is very polite.
