Be sure to book - especially on a Sunday morning - comfortable environment in former art gallery on the Shore Leith - great location. Friendly welcome - interesting menu - efficient service - not rushed - food was excellent. Can highly recommend.

Really like the French toast with bacon and maple syrup, decent flat white. Friendly staff with good vibes. Elegant interior would visit again for brunches

Had a very nice dinner . Ordered the 3 piece cheese board as a starter and it was very generous. Had Niçoise salad with salmon. Fish, potatoes and green beans all cooked perfectly, some of the lettuce was not good, too sad to eat. Gnocchi were also very good.

Warm and friendly environment with great breakfast and coffee selections. The Latte, Eggs Benedict, and scrambled eggs on toast were all delicious. The waitresses were welcoming and nothing appeared overpriced. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch.

A wonderful and cosy wee restaurant with a professional staff and a cook definitely passionate about their dish. My wife and I had a lovely date at Toast a couple of nights ago, after having pinned this restaurant for some time. What a wonderful evening, both in terms of ambiance and food. The serving staff was particularly attentive to my wife's dietary requirements and doubled checked with the chef for alternatives. This transformed our date into one of the loveliest time together. The menu contains a varied selection of European-inspired dishes, nicely accompanied by a large list of wines. We were very tempted by the desserts (some of them being gluten-free) but the somewhat large portions of the starters and mains meant that we had to revert to taking a doggy bag instead. We will definitely come back.

Food was spot on and the a was relaxed but bustling. The service is attentive but just the right amount. Staff knew exactly how to welcome you and make you feel right at home. Great value for money for the quality, service and location on offer.

Perfect place for a brunch. We went at 10am thinking we wouldn't have a table as I always see a queue for brunch. We had no problem at all getting a table but by 11 it was full. Food and coffee was great and the service was attentive. The only thing I'd say is that there's a lot of noise from the bar (plus people at tables talking, which is normal).
