   I have food intolerances and I just loved that the ingredients in your cakes etc are on the display case. It felt so good to not be a nuisance asking for more information on another product. I'm a grown up and if I'm given the full information I can make my own choices. This is because you make your own food from base ingredients.

   After riding the Severn trail, I was so pleased to find this happy little cafe, the staff were warm and kind, and the house blend tea pot was 3 lovely cups of very high quality tea, and I took a brownie away for the trail. A few hours later I tucked in. It was glorious. Again, high quality ingredients plus an excellent baker make for the perfect afternoon treat. I hope I pass again.

   The quiche, the fruit scone and coffee were all exceptional. The pastry was delicious as was the filling. Home made and delicious. I would travel here from North Bristol regularly now that I’ve discovered this gem of a place. Forget the café in John Lewis- can’t match the Tea Cottage. Brilliant
