Not that big so best to get there early if you want a seat. The food is pretty standard for NT, so we went for jacket potatoes which were a good size

This review is for the Marshalfield Ice Cream shop attached. The ice cream is so good and I liked the cones as well. The chocolate and salted caramel are both good if they have them. The mint chocolate chip was good, but not quite as good as those two.

Overly priced drinks but it was okay for it being a National trust place. However, the two iced drinks were only 80% filled with large and small being the same size. I’ve asked if I could have a little ice for my daughter’s water as it’s a super hot day, and she said β€œno, we don’t have ice.” It was clearly a lie, as I literally have my iced drinks placed in front of me. I asked if I can pay for the extra ice and she just said β€œno.” Will get a better cafe down the road next time for better coffee and friendlier service.

This is a converted stables in the heart of Lacock Village. My dogs and I were warmly welcomed by staff and the high ceilings provided a lovely atmosphere on the inside in contrast to the rather plain exterior. The outside gave the impression that the cafe was shot but the door was actually kept closed to keep the warmth in and the extra check to see and push off the door was well worth the extra effort indeed. I chose a hot chocolate as well as the leek and potato soup. The chocolate was generous in size and tasty. The soup was also delicious and served with an extremely chunky slice of bread - and we all know that leek ace potato can be a bit of a gamble, but well worth the toss of the coin in this case.

It was the usual high standard that you would expect of a National Trust cafe. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice cafe in laycock. Seating both inside and out. Can get busy on sunny days , holidays and weekends. Serves good coffees, cakes and savouries like the smaller size pasty. Parking on site or in the National Trust carpark

A nice little cafe with a good selection of cakes and light lunches. I had a jacket potatoe with tuna and mayonnaise for lunch today and a cappuccino and both was very nice. The cafe has seating inside and outside and is just opposite the main entrance to Lacock Abbey.

Great choice of food on offer from pastries to cakes and baked potato’s or wedges. Had two cappuccino and a tea which was a little too hot causing the cup to melt and deform slightly.

Friendly atmosphere with cute decor. This however was not enough to wash out the mediocre coffee.
