When you think of charming towns and villages in The Cotswolds, Minchinhampton is exactly what you’re imagining. And then when you stop off at Henry’s Bakehouse in Market Square and have some of the best scones, sausage rolls, and a lovely frittata, and are welcomed by a charming and friendly staff who don’t think you’re weird if you end up coming back a couple times in one day, it makes The Cotswolds experience complete! I love this place!

Excellent menu, delicious food. The service is great and very friendly. Busy bakehouse/coffee shop which reflects its quality. The coffee is amazing and brewed to perfection. Also sells bread, organic dairy products. Just lovely.

We drive over from Calne in Wiltshire to this part of the Cotswolds to enjoy lunch at this friendly and welcoming gem of a cafe. Friendly staff and locals, excellent food including home made soups served with sour dough bread freshly toasted with a helping of English butter. Excellent menu with a good selection of cakes and coffee

I went into Henry's for breakfast and found a cosy corner. It had a nice vibe. Lots of locals were there and were very friendly. I ordered avocado on toast vegan style. I was very impressed with the number of vegan options, cos I was once a vegan. My meal had delicious vegan cheese and beetroot hummus. So nice to see locals coming in and asking for their usual order. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and they engaged with all the customers. I don't always leave a review, but when something is either good or bad, it's important to say.

Our favorite food spot in the Stroud area! We keep coming back because the food and drinks are top notch, and we see such genuinely kind and generous service each time too. We can even do some of our grocery shopping while here. The fresh milk, eggs, butter, cream, and meat were all huge hits with our family of six. Our girls love the pastries and drinks, and we love that we don’t feel rushed in the cute cafe space with outside seating options if the day is nice. Super friendly service and just top quality all around. Cannot recommend enough!

Great find. The staff were so friendly with an obvious pride in their work. Fresh food, delicious coffee, traditional decor. Lots of locals. Would definitely visit again!

We wanted to give Henry's another chance after being disappointed by the toasties, previously we found them extremely greasy and overpriced. Today they got one of our orders completely wrong, and did not have items that either of us had asked for. Admittedly we went late in the day. Personally we prefer bacon a bit crisper but that is just our preference. Once again however we found the toasties to be absolutely soaked full of grease, so intensely fatty that we both had to stop eating after a few bites. I honestly don't understand how anyone can eat those all in one sitting! Easily both the most greasy and most expensive toastie I've ever had. That, combined with the very high prices (£6 - 7.50ish for a toastie) mean we won't be coming back. Clearly we're the minority as this place gets great reviews.

Recently stayed in this beautiful little village for a week. Found this coffee shop quite quickly, so glad we did. The ladies behind the counter are super friendly, recognised our Welsh accents straight away, and were very welcoming. The coffee was very good, and the cakes and pastries are to die for, we will defiantly look forward to calling there again if we're in the area
