   The winner of the weekend. Such a good restaurant with amazing menu, spacious seating, that good ole traditional pub atmosphere, parking spots, dog friendly and great beers. What else can you ask for?

   Rather a disappointing visit unfortunately. My partner and I booked in for a Sunday roast and had a pleasant drive out to this country pub and were welcomed with a smile. Table wasn't ready but not an issue as we sat at the bar and had a drink. When we were shown to our table it was a very small table situated near the toilets against the wall. The table was so small that we could only just get our legs under and the table legs so close together that the chair would not fit under it. Not a big issue but not the best seating position to enjoy a meal. Once we had ordered the meal took 35 mins to arrive which was fine however, many of the other guests seated after us were served before us. The food was OK and what you would expect for a Sunday roast in a country pub. The noise level was very high and we struggled to hear each other at times which was a little off putting when you're trying to enjoy a relaxed meal. All in all the experience wasn't the best but mainly due to the location of our table, at times it just felt as though we had isle seats on a plane with people constantly passing to use the toilets. Worth a visit but I would reccomend requesting a table away from the toilets when booking.

   Absolutely Amazing Food! Had Hummus, cheesy garlic bread, pizza, ravioli and veg burger. The quality of bread is very good. The best Ravioli I have ever had! Will definitely visit again!

   We had a wonderful Sunday roast here (2 people). The food and service were both was great. Staff were friendly, attentive, with quick service. The atmosphere was very cozy. I recommend booking in advance as all tables were full.

   LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The town is like something out of a fairy tale. This little restaurant/pub was very accommodating and the food was delicious. They even had a great little dessert I could eat that was low sugar, dairy and gluten free. I think it was called "sticky toffee pudding."

   We took a detour solely to come here. They are dog friendly and the place is super comfy. The menu's ingredients are all from local farms and you can taste the difference and quality in every dish. The Salutation is proof that the British can definitely cook! We would love to stay more just to have time to try all their dishes. Toilet is clean, service is fast and attentive, music is excellent. A good place for the whole family or just to have the best pint on your own looking out the windows. Don't miss the opportunity!

   Lovely little pub just off the M4. The interior is impressive and feels like you’re dining in a grand Tudor hall. Service was friendly and the food was delightful. As other reviewers have recommended the teriyaki pork belly is the highlight of the menu. The fish is also worth a mention as it tasted incredibly fresh - the benefit of sourcing ingredients as locally as possible. Would definitely make the journey out here again or stop off if travelling along the M4.

   Food: ☆☆☆☆☆ great pub food. The pork belly was very delicious. Hospitality/service: ☆☆☆☆☆ very friendly waiter and waitress Environment: very comfortable environment. Its interior was designed in old English style with exposed oak structures and bare face stone walls. The exquisite environment enhanced our overall dining experience.
