Madi was excellent behind the bar, got the to working for football after many failed attempts for us, the pizza she cooked was exquisite, definitely be back!
Recently moved near this pub and it has become my new local. Love the vibes and the feel of the pub, the bar staff are lovely too. Great selection of drinks and a nice outside area for fresh air!
Have had many of great night in this pub in the last two years of having moved into the area. Have grown good friends with the locals and become part of the pool team now. The staff are friendly and accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure we have the sports on the drinks poured and the pool table at the ready. Libby , young tom , Liz , Jason and landlord Tom are exceptional and the way Tom has turned the pub around and pulled in the staff needed who do an amazing job and how he operates as a whole makes the whole pub and clientele feel at ease and make it an enjoyable environment to be around sets it aside from others I’ve attended. It does not do food but to attend for the sports or to play pool and congregate with friends or family with the added bonus of a welcome from Rex the dog is class and my children enjoy seeing the pooch and trying to play pool very much! Well done Tom and staff you should be very proud and I’ll be eager to attend again!!
Beautiful English pub with inside and outside seating arrangements. Welcoming to pets too! You got pool, music and good entertainment all throughout the week. Drinks priced quite competitively. Should visit if you're around the corner!
Went into the pub last night. Sue to staff illness there was only one member of staff working. He was amazing! I think every last glass must have been used as it is always busy on a Friday. However the lone barman kept the glasses cleared ( and washed them all up) no one waited for any length of time for a drink. He was upbeat and friendly even though his head must have been spinning! Pub really has great staff always a pleasure to visit.
Lovely, friendly staff, great atmosphere and really good entertainment, especially over the weekend with great access to live sports all around the pub, a large pool area and darts area too. Nowhere else I’d rather be!
