Lovely pub, very friendly staff such a great atmosphere, and sadly missed the mythical well behaved four year old so will have to come again to try and spot them. Definitely worth visiting

Lovely little local pub, very friendly welcoming atmosphere. Great food - we had the pan fried duck and steak and Guinness pie. Good selection of beers on draft. The pub itself is really quaint with lots of character. Would recommend.
This is the best Sunday roast that we have ever tasted in Bristol by a mile and they're are some great pubs here. The presentation of the food, the friendly staff and perfectly cooked beef was all dressed with the most stunning red wine gravy and side vegetables with cauliflower cheese as well. This will now be our local pub for Sunday lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough it's incredible. Compliments to the chef and all the staff who made us feel so welcome in this beautiful country pub. See you again soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A very cosy country pub with excellent food. The staff are attentive and friendly. Dogs are not allowed inside, however there is a sitting area outside that can accommodate dog owners. There is free parking as well. I would not hesitate to recommend it!!
Lovely country inn tucked away in Old Down. Very welcoming landlord. Excellent food. Nice atmosphere at lunchtime ( when we went). Definitely be back.
Beautifully cooked, well presented homemade meals. We had beef lasagne (very tasty) and steak pies ( great homemade pastry and plenty of lean steak) really delicious! Good selection of beers and drinks. Very clean and well maintained pub (and toilets). Kitchen has a 5/5 hygiene rating. Friendly husband and wife owners. Looking forward to our next visit. We can see why it’s so popular and we’ll probably book in advance to make sure we have a table.

Always such a warm and friendly place to be. We booked for Sunday lunch for 9 people and the team there couldn't have been more courteous and welcoming. They suggested and ensured that there was full availability of what we wanted from the menu by putting pack enough for our choices seems we were dining later at 2pm. They also customised some Sunday lunches for the kids who decided they wanted Mac'n'Cheese in place of a meat choice. All of the food was hot and tasty. And there was a good amount of it too. The service was amazing, the atmosphere warm and cosy with the large log burner stove, and to be fair we could have all sat there quite happily for hours more. Top marks as always.
The Fox Inn is one of my favourite pubs. The staff here are always super friendly, the pub is very cosy and the beers are great. Highly recommend this pub!
