This is a great little pub with an amazing landlord, open fire, football, meat raffle on a Sunday, great staff and friendly locals.i live the other side of the city but i will be coming back on Sundays

This is by far the best local in the area and certainly the cheapest. The pub has just been taken over by an ambitious young couple who are very passionate about their new business and so far have done an excellent job. They have brought in some new ideas and activities. A bit of music on a Sunday afternoon and a meat raffle each Sunday which is proving popular. They have also brought back Sky Sports just in time for the new football season. I am impressed with what the guys have achieved so far and recommend you go and have a gander. I am sure you’ll be impressed too! Keep up the good work guys!
Lovely local pub with friendly staff and a nice decor
From past experience, it's not the easiest place to get into with a wheelchair, but it is possible. May do Sunday lunches depending on the time of year (ring to check). Fairly quiet for an after work drink, can get louder later.
What a great pub. Great staff. Great clientele. Everybody's so friendly and welcoming. Tremendous bar.
My new favourite local. Aways a good and friendly atmosphere. Barstaff are friendly and always say hello! My partner and I love it! Guinness and thatchers and black always really good! And brilliant prices too!
What a great little pub Recently refitted out to high standard Not going down the route of a Gastropub, thank God! But a clever and cosy design. The staff are lovely and welcoming, pints our on point and reasonably priced for Bristol and there’s a wood burner. What more do you want from the local pub.
