Simply was going to the pub to revise , had a sandwich I’d prepared at home as I live far out , and requested a glass of water . Then the barman said “ No you can’t bring your food from elsewhere in and mentioned buying customers “ was simply trying to revise and and chill whilst in the arches area
bartender didn’t even know what a bloody pickle back was. dismal. atmosphere was alright.
Nothing particularly special about this pub. Worth noting that they don’t allow groups larger than 3 on Friday and Saturday.
Great pub with live sport, two pool tables and darts, definitely recommend checking out. Bar keeps were also friendly and helpful, would love to go back!
This was my number one pub in Bristol for two reasons, the vaping inside and the juke box! The juke box has now been removed and replaced with an app. The app will not let us play music past a time. We spoke to the manager and he said he has stopped the music. I will not be returning or bringing my friends
By far the worst pub in Bristol. Bald-headed manager bloke was exceptionally rude to my friends, questioning our reason to be in there, asserting that we were only there to use the pool table, demanding that was bought a drink within 3 seconds or threatening to kick us out, refusing to give us our food back, seems to hate young people saying ‘it’s not a youth club’ despite the fact cat and wheel makes all its money from students pahah, condescending our entire group from the start. Also called us ‘too poor to be in a pub’. Piped down when it was given back to him lol
Cheapish drinks, quick service, clean toilets, and great karaoke nights
Proper pub, great cider, live music,pool tables. Full of very loud students! Great atmosphere.
Great service, the garden is small but good. Inside the pub it could do with redo, fresh paint and all that.
Lovely place to have a good time and enjoy a few drinks, whether with some friends or by one's self, the space is laid out nicely, there are music machines, darts and even pool. The staff is friendly and caters well to the customer's needs. Definitely recommend this pub for all ages 18+, will be visiting again soon!
