Old man’s boozer, does what it says on the tin. Father in laws bday, enjoyed it, chatted with the locals, made to feel very welcome. Cheers!

Intimidating from the outside, incredible on the inside. After a few pre-visit pints, my girlfriend and I had the courage to pop in for what was going to be just a pint. Before we even had chance to order our drinks, we were invited to sit with some locals on the "head table". We ended up spending a couple of hours, drinking cider and having a great laugh with the land ladies and locals. Quality pub, real old school British boozer. Thanks for having us!

Try to buy a drink at 9.40 pm on a Saturday night in a packed pub . To be told they were shut. Surprised as there were lots of people still drinking. Obviously we were not the right customers for the pub, !!

A Boozer for the serious Cider drinker. Spit & sawdust pub. No frills. Friendly Pub. Locals make you feel welcome. Bar Staff great. £2.75 for Cheddar Valley which was a really great pint and I do mean that. Will go back for more.

Opens early! Friendly, good prices, cheap food, relaxed, traditional boozer. Update: this pub continues to be a cheap, friendly, brilliant pub, fantastic landlady. Really worth a visit. Update: remains an excellent, friendly, cheap boozer.

It's for some people but just not me! A very basic and old fashioned pub. Drink was still cheap and bar staff were sound.

It is a small very old-school traditional pub. Crowd in this place was friendly bunch who come here often enough to know everyone else and be interested in newcomers. There is a jukebox machine on the wall with huge variety of songs to pick from (for free). Standard choice of drinks for a good price. Plus some board games to spare some time.

Drinks were cheap but that was it. Stank of wet clothes.
