Stuck in the past and proud of it. The Three Lions feels less like a pub and more like a live-action Facebook rant. Expect warm pints, cold stares, and enough flag-waving to make you think you’ve stumbled into a Brexit theme park. If you like your “banter” outdated and your opinions louder than your lager, this’ll be your spot. The rest of us will be drinking elsewhere — in 2025. (I’m sure the owner will be in the comments faster than Nigel Farage at a channel crossing photo op as he’s wound up tighter than the jeans he wears.)

Went there early morning on way to Bristol city match..we could not have been made more welcome! Two lovely ladies serving and a cheerful chappy selling his much needed rolls! Thanks all

Came here a few weekends ago, what a brilliant pub. Friendly staff and patrons and a great pool table. Would give more than 5* if I could

Don’t let the idea of it being a Football pub put you off – the atmosphere here is surprisingly welcoming! The people, a mix of regulars and new faces, are all really cheerful, making for a great vibe. And let’s talk about the landlord and landlady – they are absolutely great fun, adding to the lively spirit of the place. One thing I particularly love about this pub is how affordable the drinks are. The beers are cheap, but they don’t compromise on quality. It’s nice to enjoy a good pint without breaking the bank. The place also boasts a fantastic selection of other drinks, catering to all tastes. The weekends here are a blast with the entertainment they put on. They’ve got a disco and karaoke, and it’s always a good time. You don’t have to be a great singer to join in – it’s all about having fun and enjoying the moment. Plus, the music selection is top-notch, with something for everyone. Really, give this place a try, even if you’re not into football. It’s a great spot to unwind after a long week, meet some friendly faces, and just have a good time. I’ve become a regular now and always look forward to my next visit!

Nice and friendly pub, LGBTQ community welcomed because the owner loves em. Make sure you'll attend Jamaican/african night Tuesday and Friday nights

It's not really the fault of the owners or workers at the pub, but it's a bit exclusive. This is mostly due to the patrons being generally diehard City fans. Do not come in if you support the Rovers, they will smell it on you. If you're a City fan or a neutral, it's not too bad at all. It's maybe one that's there mostly for the regulars, which isn't a bad thing, in fairness
