I visited Redwood Farm with a group of young people with SEND. I initially booked online and it was a later evening spot. After talking with the young people we decided I would call and try to rearrange for an earlier time. When I called the staff we really helpful and rearranged. When we arrived the staff were really helpful. To help ordering for a large group I wrote down individual choices and we ordered as a group. The food arrived and it was hot and of good quality. Given that our young people struggle with sensory issues, it was amazing that they all cleared their plates! After the main course they young people decided they wanted to try dessert. Oh my goodness, their cakes are huge! Two couldn't finish and had to take portions home. Cake boxes are available for the over ambitious! When it came to paying the staff were really fantastic as each person wanted to pay for their own meal (writing it down did help and paying is an essential lifeskill!!). It was not bother for staff and they interacted with each person carefully taking their portion of the bill! Overall it was a great evening out.

Horrified! ! I went with my two children. We went up to order our food and there were big flies crawling over the meat! The server seems a bit surprised when we asked for fresh meat. It later occurred to me that there might have been flies crawling on the fresh meat while it had been in the kitchen! We sat down opposite the serving counter. The flies of course returned and the server then used the food on display to prepare take-away.i was mortified! In the meantime, I had been accosted by a young drunk who was throwing his arms all over me and followed us back to our table. No one tried to intervene. I eventually had to ask him to leave us alone; spot the flies on the food in the photos taken at their carvery counter.

Really nice place to go out and eat. Atmosphere wasn't too loud, easy to order through the Greene King app. Service was prompt and food arrived hot. Only slight downside for me would be the chicken and rump steak were slightly dry on the mixed grill. Also paid £2.99 for extra onion rings to be included on my mixed grill and received only 2 (which supposedly come as standard anyway). Other than that, lovely place, warm atmosphere and good food. Would reccomend!

We had the Carvery. Lovely Meats beautifully cooked Turkey, Beef & Gammon. A good choice of well cooked Vegetables & the Onion gravy was lush. The Sauces complemented the dinner. Well reccomended to all.

Great service from the staff, were always happy to assist. Couldn't say the same about the food. For the price I'd expect more or even a full portion. Take a look at the photo, that's not a portion of peas.

Not a bad meal but we arrived at about 5:30. Sadly, by then, a lot of the carvery vegetables were rather dry and unappetising. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Fairly good atmosphere. There is a children's play area of required. Overall, not bad, but could be better.

Initial impressions were good, staff were friendly and the large restaurant seemed to fill quickly. However this positivity falls quickly. Cleanliness was overall lacking, the chairs at our table were just old and very dirty, additionally the toilets need a repaint as mold is taking hold in some spots. Food availability seemed to be an issue as staff constantly had to ask the kitchen if certain items on the menu was available, with a fair number of desserts not being available. For such a large restaurant this shouldn't be the case, especially around Christmas time. Food quality was lacking in all honesty, I ordered the mixed grill and the rump steak smelt awful, like it had kind of gone off? I've never had this smell from a rump steak! And if I can smell the steak not being correct with my half working noise, there is something wrong. Additionally, while we ordered it to be medium rare, it came to the table really well done! The rest of the meats were good and the chips were nice. Moving onto my wife's burger, that was just a charred mess and all you could taste was burnt meat. To add some positivity, the starters were good, drinks were good and food presentation was good. Staff were also generally friendly. Maybe I shouldn't of come to a carvery and not eat carvery but some improvements in food quality and availability is required.

Went here on a friend’s recommendation and wasn’t disappointed! Well decorated and set out, clean and welcoming. Staff very attentive and professional throughout our visit, and answered any questions. All menu items we chose were readily available, hot, good portion sizes and a range of options. In a time where the hospitality industry is struggling and people are choosing to stay home, this site are doing their level best to ensure they provide everything their customers want/need and should be commended for it. Will happily return.

Great pub food and carvery. Great location too with friendly staff and great service. Order from the choice of menus or try the carvery. I had a sandwich at lunchtime, the staff were attentive and polite. Ample parking. Next time I will try one of the outrageous cakes! Recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
