A very warm welcome, followed by good service from all the staff. Good menu selection and my choice (pie from the specials board) was tasty. Even better was the dessert! Only minor comment is the lighting was overly bright in the main area. Fortunately we were invited to an area closer to the bar where the lighting was more subdued (but still good enough to read the menu!).

Been so anxious coming out lately and was taken here with a friend and it was lovely. Fabulous gluten free roast for my friend .. actually, the best in the area. Even had Yorkies gf! Had trouble of roasts (normal and GF) and was amazing. Only downfall is not enough gravy. Half a small jug for one and a splash on mine. Ask for more if you order roasts. Thankfully the meat was SO SUCCULENT that we didn't need anymore gravy. But next time we will. Best views. Lovely staff and well worth the money.

Absolute gem of a pub in lovely quiet setting with big carpark and ample secure garden area. The food is always divine whether sampling the lunchtime menu or main menu. The staff are wonderful, very kind and patient with the dog as well as friendly and attentive. Lovely pub.

Lovely pub with really nice staff. Good parking on site and inside warm and cosy. Table and seating were a little dirty and should of been cleaned correctly. Toilets not that clean either with no toilet rolls. Food was average and way over priced. Drink not that great either. A nice pub trying to be Gourmet and something more than it is, which is a shame.

6 of us had a delicious meal last night. Good menu reasonably priced, well cooked and presented. Very helpful and friendly staff - it’s a real pleasure to be able to visit our local again and feel that everyone really wants it to succeed. Thank you very much - we’re looking forward to the Boxing Day quiz.

Went there for Sunday lunch recently. No issue with the service, decor is fine although they could easily lose a few pictures and all of the horse brasses. Unfortunately the food was very poor and whist I would be happy to return for a drink I will not go there to eat again. At £18.50 for the roast beef, the quality should have been so much better. Both the Yorkshire and the roast potatoes would seem to have been reheated from frozen, both were very poor. The beef was overcooked and dry. For this price there are many other places that offer better quality food.

A lovely little pub in a quiet and sedate village.. ample parking and dog friendly with an under cover and open air outside seating areas. Came here today... New owners Dan and Jaz were impeccable hostes the place was lovely and clean and as usual i went through to the heart of the building and high standards run throughout... I'm really impressed with this pub/eatery it seems a real hub for the locals and visitors alike.. Thank you for looking after me guys
