    Visited for the first time last night as we were meeting friends at a nearby restaurant and were hoping to find a pub with a beer garden to enjoy the weather. Not only did we find the beer garden, but also a friendly welcome from the staff and locals (the bar lady even remembered my order!), a pool table including a quality pool cue and chalk and a cold, clean pint of Stella. Nice, friendly vibe and will definitely return if in the area again.

    Been here a couple of times. The atmosphere is great, drinks excellent. Only a 25-30 min walk to Ashton Gate Stadium. If you like Spanish football (like me), then the landlord puts Spanish football on the TV.
