Been going here on and off since the very first time it opened its doors. Even had the honour to play the first few gryphests held. Can't recommend it enough, even if it's just a swing by for a quick drink on your adventures.
The best pub around for miles. Crafted beers, a welcoming owner who knows his stuff. A good nod to the Wellington in Birmingham for the beer quality. Also ridiculously fine supporter of Metal music
Nice little rock pub. Small so gets busy quickly. We are from Brighton, so only been here twice on visits. People all seemed to be friendly and having a good time. I will say the sound system is terrible though. You can hardly make out the vocals on the music. Good place though. AND they had Irn Bru!
First time here in Bristol absolutely 10/10 pub Great drinks choices from holy goat brewery to their own infinite whisky barrel
Great night out.. decent beer & good metal atmos. Free entry to live gig after an hour or so was a bonus.
Probably the best metal boozer in the whole city. Wonderful staff, the owner is an absolute gem and the beers are super well kept and there's always something new to try! All other drinks super too, and a good variety of spirits. Music is always good too - if you like your metal and alternative then this absolute melting pot of alt cultures is right up your alley!
Excellent beer choice. I had most probably the best Barley wine I have ever drank. Ukraine barrel aged 10.4. .375cl so good drank two and took two home. Music pub with real ale. Highly Recommended
Excellent metal bar close to the centre. Wide selection of ales and stouts, along with spirits, lager and cider. Excellent vibe if you're into metal/rock music or just up for mixing it up for something that's the norm. Friendly staff and punters alike. Always blasting great music It has an upstairs venue which is on the smaller side - which is never a bad thing in my books.
A right proper metal pub in the heart of Bristol. Great decor, good selection of stouts and porters on tap. Closed a bit too early for a proper party, but enjoyable nonetheless
