    Have real questions about the business who bought this pub and what they are aiming for. This was a mainly student pub targeted, especially during term time. But then it was sold, the week or two for the start of this academic year. Range of drinks massively reduced (IPA's, artisan / craft ales etc) Had some deals on food and drink that have disappeared after a few months. And it's often very quiet. I say this all more in love than bad-mouthing as I'm very much a non-student local who drinks in here semi-regularly over the years, I don't understand who they are aiming for or the business model.

    I ordered a pizza and didnt have time to eat it at the white harte so needed a pizza box to put it in but the pub didnt have any. And a member of staff I think he’s called Ten, he was so hospitable and put so much effort into finding something for me to take my pizza. But on a side note having extra pizza boxes or any type of take away boxes and foil in a pub/kitchen would be ideal.

    Popular student pub. Went there for wing Wednesdays. Both the cauliflower and chicken wings were excellent and great value at 40p each. Ran out quite quickly so get there early, and be prepared for a lot of student clubs! Nice friendly staff and good selection of on tap beers. Live football showing on the tv

    Good pub but my friend and I ordered some chicken wings and veggie ones and they put them on the same plate which they shouldn't have done. They should be on separate plates.

    If you are a student and you go on the correct night you can get a cheap pint. Really nice atmosphere It's just hard to get a seat most times I have been.

    Awesome student pub with the best deals in Bristol that I have found. £2.50 pints on a Monday and Friday from 4pm and £3.50 on all craft and cocktails on Thursday. 30p wings on a Wednesday. Amazing pizzas and burgers. TVs everywhere for live sports and 2 pool tables. Really cool secret court yard too :-)
