   The stag and hounds is a wonderful place to eat and socialise, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Me and my partner come in here on a regular and we have had a great experience everytime. The bar staff are very friendly we were recently served by a very cheery young lady by the name of Lauren, she was very attentive to detail and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend and many thanks for the great service.

   Staff were very polite and helpful, the restaurant area was very clean and well organised. The whole experience was great and the food was good. The items on the kids menu were very good value for 2 small fussy eaters. Have not been here for around 10 years and this seems like it is managed very well. Thank-you

   Visit at 4pm, its dead quiet so service is quick and food is fantastic! Your average cheap pub with good food and drinks for the price. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and restaurant, plenty of seating inside and outside, loads of parking. Not much to fault, just keep in mind you pay for what you get for- simple pub food, decent prices for normal portions.

   Very basic Sunday dinner lack of gravy roast potatoes felt they had been hanging around carrots, are literally raw the very little cabbage you had was not very nice all in all dissapointed, excellent service great staff.

   A really nice rustic pub which is warm and inviting. Lots of tables with plenty of space, so it doesn't feel like you are sat close to the next table. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The cleaning standards are very high, the pub looked and felt immaculately clean. The decor is very nice and to a high standard. The food was very nice and good value for money. Would definitely visit again!

   Excellent all round! A warm, cosy, traditional (but up to date) family pub with plenty of space inside and out. Dog friendly as well - I presume for well behaved doggies! Easy access and plenty of parking. Really delicious, well cooked, beautifully presented, high quality food, served in generous portions and all piping hot. A perfect venue for a tasty Sunday lunch! Normal well stocked bar seems to cater for all tastes. Their prices are very reasonable indeed, and the "two for one" roast meals are really excellent value. The staff are welcoming, helpful, charming, attentive and delightful - what more could one want? Very highly recommended: we will be back before long! Thank you for your hospitality.
