Upon arrival, our table had not been cleared from the previous customers, and I had to request that this be done before placing an order. Although the venue was busy, there appeared to be a lack of organisation and effective oversight in managing the dining area, as our table was only partially cleared and not revisited for the remaining crockery & cutlery. Additionally, the disabled toilets on the lower floor were unavailable due to a missing internal handle, and the lift required to access all toilet facilities was also out of service. This created a significant accessibility issue. Our food took approximately 35 minutes to be served and arrived only lukewarm, giving the impression that it had been left standing prior to being brought to the table. I am a regular visitor to Wetherspoon establishments across the South, and regrettably this was the poorest experience I have encountered. Based on this visit, I would be reluctant to return to this location and could not recommend it.

I ordered a side order of mushrooms, the price was £0.98 when delivered to my table, there was one very small mushroom, the same size as the Wetherspoons pepper sachets. My all day brunch was fine, however ! The baked beans were approximately a small desert spoon full. Would I eat here again ! Never.

went with a few mates there drinks didn't arrive after an hour and there food was just a small amount of garlic in the middle of a whole garlic bread even after asking about the drinks there never arrived

Was an average spoons experience. Food wasnt the best or worst ibe had from spoons, chips were not crispy, but the fish was SUPER crispy. They did help me with a new drink as the Pepsi was a little watery at first. Staff were polite, helpful and food came out very quick.

I had a 3oz burger. Firstly I wish I'd read the menu properly because it comes with a brioche bun. I don't know why anyone would like a sweet bun with it. Secondly the burger was only just warm in places and very cool in others and the chips although very tasty weren't very hot. Thirdly I had a raspberry lemonade which came in a can. I wasn't given a glass to drink it out of. Finally the bar staff were quite slow at serving. My friends and I have been here before but won't be going back.

Back again in Jan 2023, always a good pub. Great Witherspoons pub, with food from breakfast, lunch, Aberdean Agnes Steak. Sat here with my children for afternoon burger and chips. Another shot here with Rock in the Castle, the end of the Sumner shows. The pub is packed with cover band Tshirts. Clean, tidy, screens everywhere, shame they we all never applied this style of anti social gathering years ago.Rock on Chepstow.

Nice Spoons this one. Right in the centre of Chepstow. Only Minus was no parking at all. Was clean and tidy. And the place seemed friendly. Bar staff were quick and helpful. Drinks as usual were amazing value with loads of selection. Didn’t try the food but there seemed to be plenty of selection. All in all I would say if your on budget for a quick pint and some food, this is the place to head for.

This is a lovely Wetherspoons, let down by under staffing. Slow service and lukewarm food if you are unlucky enough to order the quicker of the two meals on a table.
