   This place is an absolute shambles, and without question one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We booked in advance specifically because certain dishes were advertised as available. On arrival, we discovered that many of them were not. A pizza menu was left on the table, a sign on the wall proudly claimed handmade pizza was available, yet there was no pizza. No burgers either. Nothing we had come for could actually be ordered. It felt misleading at best and dishonest at worst. The environment matched the chaos. The table was sticky, the floor visibly dirty, and the menus were grimy and unpleasant to handle. It gave the strong impression of a place that has simply given up. What truly finished the experience was the manager. Rude, dismissive, and openly uninterested, they could not have cared less about the situation. There was no apology, no attempt to fix anything, and no effort whatsoever to make it right. In the end, we had no choice but to leave without eating a single thing, while the manager quite clearly could not care less. Ironically, we ended up going to McDonald’s, where the service was better, the place was cleaner, and the menu actually existed. That comparison alone should be embarrassing. If you want a positive dining experience, avoid this place entirely. Misleading advertising, filthy surroundings, unavailable food, and management that does not care make this somewhere I would actively warn people against. Truly awful from start to finish.

   Kaylea and Beth were very attentive and gave my partner and myself a very warm welcome when entering the pub. Their knowledge of what drinks suited which meal was very impressive. Large glass of red wine for a steak, and a pint of san Miguel to go with a burger. With myself also working in the trade that’s some great upselling to a premium product! Would definitely come back and bring more people 10/10

   Pleasantly surprised, it's been a long time since I've been here and would definitely return. Party of three, we had sausage and mash, a BBQ chicken burger and the ultimate burger. We all left satisfied with our meals, tasty and generous portion sizes. Thank-you.

   Our family of 9 visited for Christmas lunch yesterday, the staff were excellent, very friendly and patient, all of our courses came out really quickly, food was hot and great sized portions, the roast potatoes were amazing! And to finish the meal the children were given a present each, a selection box but not just your average one, a dairy milk one full of treats! We will definitely return next Christmas.

   Visit regularly always find the staff John and Chrissy, upstairs Karen and the recently returned Julie and not forgetting downstairs in the bar Tracy welcoming and helpful. Went to the recently opened Carvery that started whilst we were on holiday with son and his wife and two grandchildren - three of us had a thoroughly enjoyable Carvery with trimmings - tasty and hot - one of the best we have had in a while. Price is good - service is excellent - thoroughly recommended- suggest you try it
