We went here for a breakfast as we like the roast dinner that they do and wanted to try it out, upon arriving we found a table and the wife went to order the breakfast, she asked if they could possibly cut the fat from the bacon (not a big ask) and was told rather abruptly you’ll be lucky can’t you see how busy we are. After paying nearly £30 for 2 breakfasts they arrived at the table and the first thing I noticed was the eggs were snotty and I mean barely cooked, I asked if they could cook the eggs more so they were firm, they took the plate from me and returned it about 3 minutes later the eggs still not cooked just mashed up on the plate, once again I said something so they took the plate again and after about 6 minutes my breakfast returned again(my wife had nearly finished hers) the eggs looked fine this time the only problem is my food was now cold. I never complained about the cold food because by this time I just wanted to leave, I’m very disappointed at the attitude of the staff and the food situation, I’ve only written a review on here as my wife sent them a message on messenger and never had a response from them so I will make it public we will no be coming back

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our waitress, Jessica, was brilliant — she really knew her stuff, knew the menu back to front, and was able to recommend both food and cocktails with confidence. This traditional pub/restaurant is amazing: plenty of choice, lovely and warm, and really comfortable. The toilets were spotless and all on one level, which was a bonus. I will definitely be back. I can thoroughly recommend the meat pie and any of the Greek dishes.

We went for lunch and the staff were very friendly and attentative. Lunch menu options would all around £10, with the wider menu available and it was great

Very nice space! Came here for a lunch and it was very quiet and cozy. Love the new decor after they renovated everything, it makes the space a lot nicer and relaxing to be in. Would think it's very nice for a little family outing too, given the outdoor seating and fire pits out the back. Food was ok, nothing special or amazing but filling and good pricing for basically standard pub fare. Would definitely like to come back and try a Sunday roast here.

Lovely place and good attentive service, but the food was not executed well at all. Good menu, poor on the plate unfortunately. Great place for a drink, dining experience leaving a lot to be desired.

A lovely pub with nice indoor and outdoor seating. A good menu, including a number of tasty Greek options. The for was tasty and the service great, 5 stars all round.

The food was absolutely fantastic but I feel like I entered some sort of food eating challenge by mistake! I had the woolpack burger, a sight to behold and an endeavour to eat, but every piece cooked to perfection. I foolishly looked at the dessert menu and decided to have a little salted caramel torte. Sadly, a giant mountain of torte was delivered with a jug of cream.......I was defeated with 4 or 5 spoonfuls left......until a member of staff challenged me to finish it, male pride was my downfall as I shovelled the rest in and let it be known now that I died by one of the finest desserts I've ever had. The chilli and Meatballs/pasta were also praised by other guests and the food at other tables looked equally amazing. Lovely staff and a delightful well decorated and clean environment, would come back, but I must now lie down and allow diabetes or a sugar coma run its course, there are worse ways to go......thank you for a wonderful experience

Lovely place to eat, drink and relax. Nicely refurbished with plenty of seating in and outside. We had a party of 6 to celebrate a birthday. Very friendly and welcoming, great service and couldn't do enough for you. They were very happy to resolve issues and make sure your visit was pleasent. The food was wonderful with a large range to choose from. The deserts were amazing and the coffee was delicious. I would recommend and revisit.
