It's ok but very overpriced and freezing cold, the room temperature. Go across the road for a cheap pint and warmth!
Great place to get some drinks! Fun atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks, often has live bands in which can be very fun. Great location in the centre of Newport.

One of Newport’s Jem’s locates on the main high street of Newport the alternative styled pub/club has great live performances and lively club nights with an amazing atmosphere. Fantastic community-owned pub and art space. Staff are great, beer is great, entertainment is fantastic. It is exceptionally dog-friendly. Don't however, order any of their burgers. I want them all for ME! The best vegan food in the city, in my opinion, is served in lePub. Sam Dabb the licensee, does a lot to help homeless people and others in need.
Great juke box, amazing staff and an immense choice of drinks behind the bar. Live music venue with a great mix of bands. Really enjoyed my evening here. Will definitely go again.
