   Hired the skittles alley room for a wake £100. Catered for 60@ £9 a head. One member of staff on the bar who it would seem didn't want to be there. Waited an hour for the food to be brought out. Pitiful fare. Dry bread very little filling. Most left untouched. Awful. Avoid as there are other pubs in close proximity to the crem

   We were a group of 6 & booked a table for Saturday 26th September….I must agree with the review from Lizzy a very long wait to order & the 2 poor bar staff were run off their feet….this has always been an issue at The Ebdon when there is any event on in the function room. We did, however get our food quickly & we all enjoyed our meals. Thank you to the friendly (but stressed) staff!

   Really enjoyed our large family meal here tonight. There was plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Service was quick and efficient. all of our food was delicious and served within a reasonable time frame. We happened to be there on quiz night so it was very busy and a bit to noisy for me. There is dog friendly seating areas inside and out also plenty of seating inside and out. Customer toilets, beer garden, free parking and disabled access.

   Went here for lunch with two friends and all had the Thursday Steak special, two beef one gammon. I asked for mine to be cooked medium rare and was truly shocked to find that when it was served it was.....medium rare! My experience has been that generally pubs over-cook steaks but this rump was generous, tender and cooked perfectly to my liking. In fact, we all enjoyed our respective meals which were excellent value as the deal included a pint. Even better, they retrieved my specs which I forgot to pick up when I left. Well done!
