   My friend took me here today for my birthday treat. I had a brunch which is always my meal of choice after riding. It was absolutely delicious. I would not normally have a "2 of everything breakfast" but the quality was exceptional so it was no difficulty eating the whole lot. I will confess I brought the bread home (which meant I was not uncomfortably full) which was not frowned upon. My drink of choice is Earl Grey tea so to be able to have a cup whilst waiting for my friend as I was very early was a real treat. Thoroughly recommended 5***** thank-you.

   Wonderful welcome to the establishment. Seated quickly and presented the menu which is so full of a range of amazing items. It's a little hard to decide what to eat. The food is cooked to an excellent standard and very well flavoured and portioned to fill you. The specials available is also a great addition for the foods selection. The desserts are amazingoy scrumptious. I will be returning to sample many other items available on the menu. Thank you.

   If you haven’t been to this place you have to! Very good service, large portions and the food is incredible. I have found my favourite pub. Who would have thought it was so close to home. I just had the Chef’s Special 8 hour braised beef rib and I hope they will be moved to the main menu and be always available. In the off chance there is still space for dessert, they are amazing!

   I recently took some friends of mine to the Old Inn where they had the carvery which they thought was delicious and I had the fish and chips which was good. The fish was exceptionally good. It was a busy Sunday lunch time but service was good. There is lots of dining room inside and a little in the front garden, including a greenhouse type structure where one could keep out of the cold! Well worth a visit if you're in that area.

   Stunning food every time and able to cater for wheat intolerance. Great home cooked food and such a varied menu too. All staff exceptional, showing great attention to customer satisfaction and care for your best experience. Fresh quality food highly recommended.

   Food and beer was fantastic. I had the pork belly and was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The rest of the family’s food was also great: fish and chips, chicken Alfredo, steak and Stilton pie. Why not 5-stars? Our waitress was so miserable… no interaction, no smile. Felt like we were an inconvenience. No sure if she thought she was trying to be cool by being almost rude. Didn’t work… Great pub, we will return but SMILE!

   Impromptu visit with friends after visiting the helicopter museum, unfortunately carvery had finished but other menu still available. Great choices on menu and the food was all delicious what we ordered. Drinks were good also especially the London pride. Barstaff and serving staff all very pleasant and a very friendly atmosphere. All in all a great find We will be back if on the area again

   Stopped for dinner Saturday evening very nice pub with welcoming staff large food menu I had the mixed grill and my partner had ploughman's, food was perfect we then both had desert which took a little longer than expected but was worth the wait . Will definitely use again if in area thank you
