Highly highly recommend Bowzos, it’s my favourite pet shop in Edinburgh and have been going for years!! Lovely selection of treats, toys and dog wear. I can’t go past it without my dog Iggy insisting on going in. All the staff is super lovely and generous too ❤️
On a day out in Edinburgh, we wanted to get our pooch a new harness so walked to this independent pet shop. The lady there was so welcoming and helpful and clearly a dog lover too. Wonderful service throughout. Brought in a scarf with the tartan for my wedding and they were able to make it into a wonderful martingale collar for my greyhound. The quality if the collar is incredible and amazing value. Will definitely be back.

The owners and staff are SO lovely and friendly! Took my wee puppy in and he got to meet everyone and get loads of fuss. Beautiful handmade items, worth every penny and it’s great to be able to support a local business. Great selection of treats too, definitely worth a visit!
Really welcoming staff, good range of natural chews, toys, and dog luxuries all at reasonable prices and of good quality. Will definitely be back for some handmade pooch gear!
What a wonderful store, all the collar, coats etc. are gorgeous. They have a wonderful selection of tartans and tweeds to choose from. I bought a very cute Harris tweed collar and bow tie for my Westie and my daughter found a specific tartan collar to match her fiancées kilt for her pooch to wear at their upcoming wedding. She decided to add a tweed flower to the collar and there and then they custom made a flower to match the collar!!! We really enjoyed our visit to the store and the customer service was excellent.
