I travel across town to go particularly to the Raeburn Place part of Abercorn Vets. They are so friendly and caring and you never feel rushed. I have had my two very old Siamese cats at this vets for a long time. I changed once after moving house, but then changed back again, missing the caring feeling. We have to go monthly for care and see Laura each time (for continuity) and she is just so lovely and kind towards both of them and treats them so gently. If Laura isn't available, the others are just as caring. I'd definitely recommend these lovely vets to anyone. The reception staff are great too.

We had a very kind and thorough examination, done by Vet James, best Vet we have seen in a while. My dog is head shy but he was kind and patient and was not rushed and gave good advice. Would happily see him every time we need to attend Abercorn Vets.

The vets and staff have provided thorough, professional and compassionate care to all our ‘forever re-homed’ dogs over the last twenty years throughout all stage of their lives. Happy to recommend.

It was our first visit here and we felt very welcome. We called to get a last minute appointment for our cat when our previous vets weren’t being helpful at all. The process was so easy and when I called up they quickly managed to get the cats history sent from the other vets and book us in for the same day. When there, the vet was lovely and gentle with our cat who can be a bit timid. The vet recommended some remedy’s and medications that might help whilst taking into account that our cat has a small heart murmur. We left feeling better about our cats situation and more relaxed knowing we had help on hand if we needed any further visits. The only downside which is something little, is that it’s a very small clinic and for any larger procedures (any surgery or overnight stays) the cat would need to go to the portobello branch which is quite some distance. Knowing we have a cat with a heart murmur, this worries is a little in terms of care that can be provided at the clinic in Stockbridge.

Always seen very quickly, usually on same day, even if phone call made shortly before end of surgery. Never made to feel like I am fussing over what turns out to be a minor issue. Greeted warmly by both receptionist and all vets that I have seen and it really feels like my pets are cared for.

Have used this vet since my dog was a puppy. Always greeted with a smile and my dog is also welcomed and put at ease too. I have always felt confident in their hands and have everything explained to me. When I needed an emergency appt this was no problem and I felt cared for as much as my dog did! I would recommend Abercorn to anyone looking for a vet.

We recently had our first appointment here and they were great. Our dog is quite scared getting his ears checked and they were very good with him and tried their best to make him comfortable. Louise was especially great, she gave Frankie a ton of love and he adored her.

All staff were friendly and very good with handling animals. They put time into trying to keep your pet calm and comfortable and came across as caring, not just in it for the money. Vet was able to spot multiple issues with my cat and was very good at explaining my options, not just in the visit but in follow-up phone conversations. If you feel like your pet is a member of the family and you want to get them the best and least stressful treatment then this is an excellent vet clinic to give you both.
