Couldn't have been better. My cat was examined thoroughly and carefully by the vet at her appt for her annual vacination and examination. The vet handled my cat so well that she (the cat) stayed calm all the time.

Great friendly service. Not been disappointed in all 9 years of coming here. All the staff are fab!

Abercorn Vets are the best. It was a routine visit for my cat yesterday for her booster. The Gilmerton branch is the closest and where we normally go for routine appointments. The branch is small but very friendly and the vets and reception staff are always happy to see everyone, pet or their human.

Have been attending Abercorn Vets with our pets for many years (mainly Gilmerton and on rare occasions Portobello). Always found the staff to be polite, friendly and welcoming whilst the vets themselves were totally professional showing concern and understanding not just for the animals, but for the owners as well. Thank you.

We moved from Potobello to Gilmerton area and were able to stay with Abercorn vets. The office at Gilmerton is very small but ideal for us to take our dog for his check ups and vaccines. The vet we saw was friendly, relaxed and appreciated that our dog is a drama queen so you have to tell him if your going to touch his tummy. Great understanding of our dog.

Have been with Abercorn vets for many years and have always been happy with the care given to my cats. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and very caring.

No words for this vet practice. Putting an animal to sleep because it limps on one of its back legs is beyond me. An animal that still runs, fetches, loves food, bright and alert and loves her walks. But these professionals thought it was the best decision for the dog. So disgusted with this practice.

The worst vet team ever! After a tooth extraction the vet calls me saying that my pet has kidney disease in a terminal situation. "You can take him to home just to say goodbye or if you prefer I can put him to sleep right now" That was what I heard. I went to another vet and my pet is completely fine! Very happy and healthy.

Called up and was given an app for 5:45pm. I arrived outside at 5:30pm and the door was padlocked up, so being appointment only I assumed someone would come open up just before the appointment time but nope, stood outside with my 8week old tiny chihuahua puppy until 6:15pm before finally giving up and going home! Tried calling but got answering machine message!
