   Worst boots in Edinburgh. Avoid it unless you want to require more medication. Pharmacist takes a break multiple times a day at peak times. The queue is crazy long too when they get back. Optician staff are not very helpful either. Told me they’ll still see me if I’m 10 minutes late so I jumped in a taxi, only to be told they can’t see me when I arrive right at the 10 minute mark. Waste of time and money coming here. They didn’t even have a single person waiting, nor did anyone else show up for an appointment as I waited for the pharmacist to get back from break. Ohh yeah, and some days the store is shut early with no notice or warning, it’s just completely random. It’s a complete and utter farce.

   It was my worst shopping in Blackhall. It was like the old woman with short hair instead of helping, go shop from another place. He was a sullen face and never helpful. I got out of there and shopped at the store next door. Thank you to the young friend with glasses

   I am a delivery driver for the first time that I feel affected by bad responses and in a very racist way towards me... the order was ready in his hands and he did not want to give it to me because he wanted me to stand in a line of 20 people so that he could I will deliver the order... I am a delivery person, I am not a customer. .. first time this has happened to me... the cashiers are very disrespectful

   The worst I have ever experienced. Told to come and collect my prescription but when I got there I was told I didn’t actually have a prescription, that this was a substitute and I’d have to wait another 5 days. She told me to ‘use the one you got’ (although that’s for a separate problem). She added that if I didn’t like the service I should go to another pharmacy, (although I have a disability and no car. This is my local Boots) Then at 4 pm she started telling people they were closed for lunch (?) and put up this notice. After waiting nearly three hours and much pleading with this awful woman I finally got the much needed meds I’d been told to collect. What a nightmare. Sadly sometimes there are really great people there- but only sometimes.

   Great boots with huge selection and mostly helpful staff. UNTIL you need the pharmacy, huuuge queues and sometimes difficult staff who mess up prescriptions and aren't always polite. Am sure they deal with frustrated people who've been standing 20 min without the right pain meds but a bit of understanding, or not messing it up consistently to start with, would be great. Also everyone goes to lunch at once so no one man's the desk if you're needing to grab prescriptions at lunch it's tough..

   phoned for 30min, no response. finally got through general enquiry and was told they are too busy. Asked if my prescription is ready and was told yes. When I go in to collect medicine, they are closed for 1hr lunch break with no staff cover. What's more frustrating was post lunch break I was told to wait for 15-20 min whilst the medicine is made ready.All this while taxi was waiting to drop me back home.

   Queue management for pharmacy shocking. Staff rude and don't acknowledge you. Whilst waiting at the medicines counter they ignore you as they are so busy flapping about the pharmacy queue. Would recommend you go to another branch with better service and helpful staff
