You can recycle your old electronics here, such as straighteners and curlers. Whilst the downstairs staff may seem uncertain that this is the case, head up to the second floor and chat to them there. Takes two minutes and well worth the environmental impact!β»οΈ

Very rubbish, yesterday afternoon around 1:30-1:40PM on second floor,I purchased 30.80pounds product on the shop, then I asked for pay by points, a man told me I have 47.**pounds points , then he didnβt gave me receipt ,this morning I checked my advance card, thereβs only left 0.31pounds, I spent Β£31, he charge meΒ£47. I believe he over charged me then he took equivalent value goods home after work.

Itβs really bad service. One of the staff members upstairs didnβt even listen what the customer wanted before running the till and insisted on his own way. If you donβt know how to do the job, get a manual from your head office and actually learn, or let someone else handle it. Making mistakes without apologizing or admitting them is ridiculous. Be humble, learn from others, and be professional or step aside for someone who can.

I visited Boots Princes Street on Wednesday. I asked a young lady for assistance. Her name is Lorna and she is on the liz earle department. What a lovely lady. She was wonderful. Very patient and thoughtful and was a great help to me. I want you bosses there to know what a lovely person you have working for you. I won't forget her. Let her know she's doing great and is an asset to the company. And it's not all about getting sales and making money. I'm a 75+ independent lady. She made my day. Take note.

I went there on my way to yoga class so I was wearing a sporty gear (leggings). As I was early, I popped in to restock on few things that I was running low on. There was nobody around to help. I picked up what I wanted, paid then remembered I was running low on one of my fav perfumes. When I went to the perfume isle, I waited little while for staff, then wondered around try and find somebody. Eventually two girls on the makeup (very much preoccupied chatting about personal stuff and boys, giggling, completely ignoring what's going on around them) came around to tills, started taking the drawers with money out, still ignoring me standing there looking at them (purposely, I wanted to see how long it would take them to notice a cust). After little while I asked them if they could help me with getting the perfume. Nobody has ever looked at me this way. The blond girl looked down on me like it was unacceptable for me to dress as I wanted, like I was in any way worse. I was polite, got the perfume and left. I spent ~Β£130 and that's the treatment I got. Two stars are for the fact that I was able to buy the products I wanted and the Asian lady at the other tills was very nice. Rest is a downgrade for lack of professionalism. I have never experienced anything like this and I hope this won't ever happen again to me or others regardless of what one may wear.

The feeling you get when someoneβs really glaring you to death, I experienced it here, that overweight security guard followed me everywhereβ¦ didnβt make me feel uncomfortable, just thought he was a massive something-end (Iβm sure you know what I mean by that by something-end)

The shop itself is fine, its a massive Boots over two levels with all the beauty selections you could imagine on the lower, and then more things to browse upstairs. They also offer an opticians, pharmacy, and in the case of why we were there, child inoculation services. I'm down marking because Boots have decided this is the only shop in Edinburgh now offering the child service we required which can be a pain getting young children into the centre of town, particularly on a weekday when you are a working parent, and even more frustrating when our local Corstorphine or Gyle Boots used to offer this, as our older child has it done there a few years ago.

We Couldn't find what we needed and as we were walking out the door... a pigeon was trying to walk in the automatic door. The staff had a box ready as they were thinking of the pigeon. The staff had gloves, picked up the pigeon, put it into the box and asked if we would bring across the street to Princes Street Gardens. We did. We also called in the animal brigade. Rspca?? Can't remember my wife called. They came and saved the pigeon.
