So, this was our anniversary dinner and we picked one of our favourite places to make memories. We had such a wonderful time a few years ago on this day and in this place, so we knew it's no brainer. I had requested a booth bit staff acknowledged that and apologised and wished us straightway. We even had a little card on the table with an anniversary message. The waitress was one of the best! Forgot to check her name, but remembered her from the last visit in the summer. She was super attentive, wished us well, knew we had a voucher even before we could mention it and served us with a big smile which always makes a difference. The food was great as always especially the scotch egg starter, pork cheeks, the sharing tomahawk and the dessert! I do miss the old days when you got a glass of bubbly on the house but times have changed so hey ho. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Price is ob the higher end but it was a special day.

From the very beginning, the team at The Butcher Shop Glasgow were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They took me to my table, organised a birthday card for my husband, and even made sure we got the window seat I requested. They kept an eye out for my husband arriving and personally walked him to the table, which I really appreciated. The service was excellent from start to finish. The steak was cooked perfectly, the dessert was amazing, and the whole atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Something that really stood out: I lost a very important bracelet that day, and they actually found it, put it safely in an envelope, and called me the same day to let me know. That meant so much to me. Overall, a wonderful experience and truly exceptional service. Definitely a 5-star visit.

First time eating at this restaurant. Service was great and Jenny was very welcoming. Starter was delicious, we had soup. We also had a wee bread side. Food was very tasty, i had a steak baquette and hubby had a burger, only one small issue, hubby had side order of garlic mushrooms but said they were not as warm as he would like, he said they were delicious and he ate the lot, portion for 2 I might add. I had side order of caulifour in cheese sauce and it was excellent, I dipped my chips and bread in, it was so tasty. Dessert was Cheesecake for hubby, nothing for me because my eyes are bigger than my belly and I was stuffed. Food appears to be freshly cooked so time between courses is longer, which i was grateful for. Parking was a bit of an issue, it's expensive, I used the ring go app and used the extend feature because we didn't pay for long enough. Will be back to try Sunday lunch.

Went the evening of Saturday, Oct 4th. It was our last night in Scotland and wanted to do something special. Everything from the drinks to the desserts were great. We both had the fillet with mashed potatoes, along with the green beans and cauliflower cheese. We also ordered the table bread which came with butter and olive oil. My friend ordered the gin bramble while I had the Sauvignon Blanc and also a glass of the Cabernet. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry vanilla cheesecake. Max was our server and he was fantastic! Highly recommend if you are in the Glasgow area!

For me this has to be hands down the best steakhouse I have ever been to, I booked me and my partner a table on a Monday night for her birthday with a note on the booking letting them know it was her birthday. All staff in the restaurant were absolutely amazing and didn't make a big fuss for her birthday and wished her a happy birthday and even gave us a card which was a small gesture but absolutely appreciative. Our waiter for the night was Steven and I cannot put into words how amazing he was, he walked us through the menu, brought a board with all the cuts of steak and showed us how big they are, what cuts would be best for us etc etc, he was absolutely unreal throughout the night and kept checking up and had really good conversations with us through the night even though Steven let us know that they were short staffed. The food was absolutely sublime and beyond any steak we've ever had and the sides were no slouch either which we absolutely loved. Overall I cannot recommend the butchershop high enough. Thank you for making my partners birthday amazing and letting us take home our leftovers

Amazing restaurant with fabulous food. The black pudding scotch egg was one of the best starters I've ever had... just delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with a choice of sauces and sides. Desserts very tasty. All in all a great experience. My new favourite restaurant.

One of the best steak restaurants in Glasgow! Sharing a tomahawk steak is an experience in itself. Especially if you start with the philly cheese steak spring rolls or black pudding scotch egg! Make sure to try the onion rings, best in town. And the mac n cheese, chips and sauces are all great too!

Best steak I have ever had in my life! I visited here at lunchtime on Wednesday the 15th of June. Our waitress was very polite and attentive from the minute we walked in, throughout the meal and even when we were leaving. We were so happy with the service. I ordered smoked salmon for my starter. It was really tasty but I could have done with a bigger portion. I had the rump steak for my mains with fries and 2 portions of vegetables. The steak was a very very high quality butchers cut! The chef cooked it to perfection! This was honestly the best day I've ever had in my life! The sides were full of flavour and were very well presented.

The food was all quite good. It is not a cheap restaurant, but the quality and service justify the price, in my opinion. The service was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Seems to be a good place to for either business, friends, or dates.

Visited on a Saturday night, place was fully booked. Asked waitress a few questions regarding steaks and wine recommendation and she couldn't advise as just a new member of staff. Felt sorry for her being put on the floor without that training. She did request recommendations from another member of staff. Food was lovely. We had steak spring rolls to share which were amazing! We both had a fillet steak, chips, mash and veg. We also ordered bone marrow. First time I'd tried this, not to my liking. Food was well presented and very good. Would recommend and will visit again.
