   We didn’t even get to see the inside of the shop unfortunately. We had a long journey to the area and when parking nearby, close to the cemetery, we were immediately harassed by an Englishman and his child. Not even 1min after parking (in a parking lot, off the road and out of anyone’s way), he came up banging on our door and was extremely rude to myself and my pregnant wife, telling us we couldn’t park there as we would be attracting other tourists in large vehicles. He additionally lied and said there were signs to say we couldn’t be there. Not a welcoming neighbourhood or local experience. He made sure to make us feel terrible and made it clear we weren’t welcome in the area to visit the sights or nearby shops.

   We were on our way to the Old Man of Storr and spontaneously made the small diversions to Gareth's workshop. We all had time to look at the filigree celtic jewellery and my wife found an amazingly beautiful silver ring with an amethyst - and she rarely finds jewellery that she likes. Gareth was very helpful in finding the right size and fitting. Thanks a lot - the ring was well the journey worth!

   This place is magical. My boyfriend and I were hiking in the Isle of Skye this past August and stumbled upon the Duncan House. Greeted by their sweet little pup and his big brother Chewie, we knew we found somewhere special. Garath and Valerie came out to chat and gave us a tour of the stunning showroom. We took one look at his work and decided to buy our wedding rings. The craftsmanship is exquisite. We absolutely love our rings and the time we spent leaning about their family and their work. Thank you Garath and Valerie for making our trip extra special!

   My family and I were able to visit the Duncan House and see their impressive celtic jewelry. We loved meeting the family and their dogs. (made me want a scottish deerhound lol) If your in the market to get a true handmade piece, wedding rings or even an heirloom-to-be, this is a great place to start. The pieces are not in-expensive, but it should be expected from handmade craftsmanship that is hard to find anymore.

I work with my hands and needed something resilient so went for the 9kt gold. It came after a few weeks and its actually incredible. So intricate and great quality. Couldn't recommend enough.
