**Appalling Food and Service at Beefeater, Stirling City Centre** Our recent visit to Beefeater in Stirling City Centre was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, it was evidently short-staffed, which likely contributed to the poor service we received. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated promptly, but then waited quite some time to place our order. The restaurant only had one glossy printed menu held by the server, while the tables were furnished with homemade printed sheets in polypockets. These makeshift menus lacked the detail of the real menus, adding to the overall disorganization. When we ordered our food and drinks, we were immediately informed that there was only one fish left. Although this wasnβt a problem and we chose alternatives, the server's manner was less than accommodating. When our drinks arrived, the Aperol spritz we ordered looked like orange pond water. The server suggested we try them and return them if they were no good, indicating that he couldn't make the drinks correctly with the ingredients available. This was an alarming sign of what was to come. The food itself was another letdown. The chicken burgers were overcooked to the point of being burnt, living up to the "double crunch" description in the worst way possible: breaded and burnt. Additionally, we all ordered chunky chips but were served French fries instead, and only then were we told they were out of chunky chips. This lack of communication was frustrating; had we been informed beforehand, we might have chosen to dine elsewhere. Despite the waiterβs apology, the entire experience was regrettable and would have been better avoided altogether. If you value good food and service, steer clear of this Beefeater. Group of five, all sharing this view. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

It is what it is good basic foods at a reasonable price with one or two nice courses in there too, and handy if you don't want to leave the hotel to get food staff were friendly and attentive.

We eat here regularly and most of the time the food and service is excellent. Like every business they sometimes have an off day which is only human. Food is high quality for the market they are in. Highly recommend the mixed grill. Staff are happy and polite. Claire for us is what a hospitality employee should aim for. Can't praise her high enough. Always remembers our order is very friendly and we never need to ask for refills on our drinks.

I always like to try new restaurants when I am travelling but Beefeater is always a favourite, I love the chargrilled nature of their food. We were coming back from Loch Lomond and fancied a bite to eat before driving up north so we stopped in Stirling, no booking was required and the happy waitress took us to our table and ordered us some soft drinks. My go to at a Beefeater is usually the cheese & bacon burger or the chicken and ribs combo, both are great however since this was a birthday weekend away we both opted for the sirloin steak. After ordering, 20/30mins later the steaks were in front of us cooked perfectly and tasted really good. Thatβs why Beefeater is always my number one choice because the food is always great, some items are slightly pricey but the quality really makes up for it, the staff in Stirling are really friendly and always willing to go that extra mile. Dinner wouldnβt be complete without ordering some desert, so after our steak we picked sticky toffee pudding and a waffle with ice cream. Once again served in no time and tasted great. If you are a Beefeater rewards member you get weekly discount codes which make going out for a meal great when you get money off the bill, highly recommend registering!
