I am giving a one star as there is not a button for zero stars. This vet is the epitome of everything wrong with the big conglomerate UK Vets and issues reported on ITN News. They are secretive and non-transparent. Refused to disclose pricing to my husband for medication, prescriptions or monthly injections which we needed to know so we could put our dog back on the specific treatment he requires but they could charge £66 for a consultation, no doubt with the same vet that likes the sound of her own voice and repeats everything she says back to herself. We don't want a consultation until we are ready for an informed discussion! We only want prices! Until the conglomerate vet practices are held accountable and are regulated better my advice is not to go anywhere near them. Talk about Rip Off Britain. This is rip off Ivybank!

Awful experience & extremely stressful. The receptionist were SO rude and unhelpful. I have mobility issues and my cat weighs 10 kgs. They did not offer to help with carrying my cat up or down their awful stairs, even though they could clearly see I had mobility aids. Coupled with that they said my appointment was earlier but I showed them THEIR confirmation text of the time and they refused to acknowledge it was their mistake, not mine! The blonde receptionist was so rude, no compassion or care & worst customer service I have ever experienced from a Vets Practise. Waste of taxi fare as they told me to wait one of two hours, so I left! Burst into tears in taxi home.

We take our dog Oscar here regularly for checkups and medication. The staff are fantastic, warm and friendly, and always give Oscar a treat after his visit. He loves them and actually likes going to the vet.

I’ve came in recently with my two cats Luna & bear both of which have had excellent experiences and care. The staff are excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable from the vets to the reception staff. I had numerous updates after one of my cats had an operation recently which was fantastic and put my mind at ease, I had some question's during my visits and none was to much trouble for the vets I seen with my cats they were friendly and extremely professional as well as patient and we didn’t feel rushed which was fantastic! I was recommended by a family member to move to the practice and I’d do the same again , I’m delighted with this practice and feel my cats are in safe knowledgeable hands in their care. Thank you very much for your knowledge & support.

Very friendly staff - very patient with my dog who was quite stressed and embarrassingly grumpy with everyone who came near her. Plenty treats won her over eventually. Clean practice, and good selection of toys and accessories available.

A new customer of this clinic for a newly re-domesticated stray. To be honest, it's a bit of a lottery - the actual care is professional, but the odds of you having a good experience are about 50-50. One appointment sees you and your pet receive warm, helpful and excellent all-round service; the next time you get a cold, uninformative and unhelpful experience. Well, we're all human, but I have noted that it does seem to depend on who the vets on duty are. If you and your cat like spending an hour waiting to be seen without any explanation, then this is the place for you.

Ivybank Vets. My pets both get well looked after here. All the staff I have met are friendly and efficient. I would recommend Lyndsay as she has helped with my dog very well.
