   I am actually disgusted with not only the Somalian security guard but the staff member who allowed him to treat me so disgustingly. I had 10 mins to spare before my bus so thought I would grab a drink for the bus journey and I could of gone to Sainsbury's but Tesco was closer, I walked up to the door to it being closed by the security, he then proceeded to run his finger across his throat a couple of times, so I asked if they were closed, he said no so I asked if I can come into get a drink I'm told no I'm banned, I ask why and apparently I'm a shoplifter and my name is Mo, I'm then told I don't look the right way and to go somewhere else, I'm in a superdry coat and brand new Adidas trainers, at this point the younger Indian worker walks to the doors and tells me 'if he says you ain't coming in then you aint' I then have A second Somalian man come from behind and stand there, all while this happening they are letting others in, I showed my id, my bank card and that I had money in my bank and still was refused. Your staff need better training, and the security should learn the actual faces of shoplifters and not just assume that anyone without makeup is doing something wrong, I have a health condition that causes me to be skinny and I shouldn't be treated a certain way because of that, the last time I came in this shop was about 3 years ago, definitely won't be going anywhere near this place, do better. I would really look into this as it doesn't seem to be the first time this has occured. To be told I'm someone I'm not, and that I'm a shoplifter is disgusting. And to make it appear a certain way to other customers is horrendous. This occured on the 10/12/2025, and about 4.25pm. tell your security guard to go and look at Mos photo which you clearly have on record and look at the image of me the person you accused and I expect an apology

   Horrible security guard - kept the doors closed on me and I had to wait to be let in, then he asked me to keep my bag by the door? What? I would like a proper email to complain too. I have never been asked to leave my bag with security at a tesco before!??

   This is the worst Tesco I have ever been in. The prices are always wrong. Either they have gone up and they haven't changed them on the shelf or the clubcard price has been displayed on the shelf but not changed on the tills. The staff never man the tills. They are off filling shelves. So if u need a person serving you or helping you out on self serve you gave had it. I had to walk out today as an item was £2 50 on the shelf and £2.80 on self serve till. I pressed assistance and the security guard had to call a member of staff. They served 3 people before me even though I was 1st in line and I had to leave shopping as I had run out of time. Shocking service.

   Good basic store, you'll get all your basics plus a lot else, but not rarer and some uncommon stuff. Better range than corner store and better pricing, but not as cheap as bigger Tesco etc due to options you have.

   Look, it's a mini mart, a diddy supermarket. It has limited stock, and limited choices. It's a little more costly than a large Tesco supermarket, but that's the convenience of town centre shopping. You can usually get your essentials here... Bread milk coffee tea sugar .... All that sort of stuff. Could you do a weeks shop for a family here? Maybe, but there wouldn't be a lot of choice/s for a week of variety. It's handy, and we use it on average about twice a week. It does us our needs, the stuff we can't get here, we have delivered from the big store. I do recommend here for top up shops, basics, and a few surprises (sometimes). You want posh nosh, and 30 different versions of one thing... Go to a proper supermarket. It is what it is ... A slightly larger convenience store in the centre of town.

   Helpful location for a small 7am - 11pm Tesco, the outside building is beautiful. It includes the basics: fruit, veg, meal deal section, alcohol + mixers, cigarettes, chocolate / snacks, bread and other breakfast foods, noodles + sauces, hot chocolate / tea / coffee, toilet paper / basic health and cleaning products and some freezer stuff on the left side of the store.

   Absolutely disappointing. Had to wait 15 minutes for a security tag to be removed when it wasn't busy all due to the guy before the best was to busy chatting to a colleague. When he came over I asked if I could get cigarette which all other tesco will do as self service check out however this guy response is you must join the back of another new cue. WHAT A JOKE! as a person who work in hospitally this is a joke. I would never ask a customer to sue twice espically after waiting so long on self check out. Never again will I shop here.

   the comment is because of RUDE STAFF, like extremely rude staff, not just to me but to others. It is my local so I go very often, you have 2 partners that are nice. others okay, then 2 that have been rude. One guy James I think his name is shouted at me because I wanted to use the main till, because my Tesco club card was not working on the other self service tills. After being shouted at for something that was not my fault, I did not use the main till again for fear of being shouted at. I do not think you actually understand the effect that has on someone who has anxiety. I expect to be able to go into a store to buy some food to eat without being shouted at. Then again I see him be really rude to a customer yesterday about 7-8ish pm Thursday 17th September and then laugh with the security guard, after the multiple occasions, I have realised this employee gets a kick out of being rude to customers so knew I had to write a review. This is unacceptable and needs to be addresses.
