   I took my 2 brother and my old Riccar sewing machines to these guys, none were working properly, after attempts by others still not working properly, took them in on Monday fetched them back on Thursday fully fixed and serviced, I’ve tried them all and hooray all fixed, so would highly recommend this company, we dealt with David, polite friendly and very helpful, thankyou so much I’m delighted and very reasonably priced too, thankyou xx

   Dealt with David very friendly and supportive. My sewing machine is singer 1935 model. He fixed it .it is up and running, new motor installed. Very helpful to a novice, he showed me how to thread this model. He had helpful tips for a beginner. Excited to start sewing with this gift. The service was quick ready within 2 working days

   I phoned ahead and discussed the problem with my very old Singer machine and was reassured I could go in and be told immediately if it were reparable. Next day a phone call to say it really needed an overhaul as it was unsafe due to original cabling and motor being suspect to say the least. Gave go ahead for necessary work, picked my machine up a couple of days later with a new motor,cabling and foot pedal and the tension spring renewed, fully serviced. £130 and it's working sweet as a nut. Very happy with the work done and wish I'd gone in years ago.

Great service they phoned me the next day with a price and the machine was ready the fallowing day. I can not praise them highly enough will tell everyone to use them, also the two guy are lovely to deal with.

   This is the 2nd machine I've taken to Neil and David of Direct Sewing Machines. This last time was a 40+yr old sewing machine, which Neil discovered had seized up no less than 3 places. They fixed it, it's running beautifully, like it is brand new. Neil contacted me explaining the various faults and also checked to see if I still wanted to go ahead with the repair! First class every time, good honest service. I wouldn't take my Machines anywhere else. Thanks guys.
