    Both of our children have attended Harcourt and we believe it is an outstanding pre-school on all fronts, and a special setting for children. The staff are so experienced, caring and fun, and they build meaningful relationships with the children. They promote kindness and sharing, help build children's confidence and encourage independence from the get-go. The quality of education is exceptional and the topics covered are wide ranging. The preschool celebrate all faiths and cultures and plan amazing activities around this. They have a real focus on learning through play and a big outdoor space to continue this outside. Beyond the setting, there is a really warm and inviting parent community, and lots of events throughout the year for families to get together. We would highly recommend Harcourt Pre-School.

    Harcourt is an AMAZING preschool. It’s a small, welcoming setting and the staff are very kind and caring toward the children. They really go out of their way to help the children gain confidence and independence ahead of transition into school. There are lots of diverse activities planned through the year and we have been surprised at how much our children have learned there. The staff catered for the additional medical needs of our children very well and were keen to do everything they could to include them. We have kept going to Harcourt even though we moved further away. It is a very special place.

    I feel like we won the lottery when we discovered Harcourt. I can't imagine a better setting for our son. He is welcomed each day with such warmth and we are able to go about our days in complete confidence that he is having a fun, stimulating time with his friends and the wonderful Harcourt team. He comes out each day with a smile on his face, often beaming with pride as he shows us works of art that he has produced. It's a total joy to hear him talk about the fun he's been having, the ideas he's encountered and all of the adventures he and his buddies have embarked on. Many of his stories involve exploring, splashing, digging and jumping about in the lovely sheltered garden that the children use every day (unless the weather is extreme). We also receive regular, detailed updates via the tapestry app which include photos and thoughtful observations. The staff at Harcourt are not only highly qualified but also immensely wise. They get the balance exactly right between accommodating needs and offering children gentle, supportive opportunities to challenge themselves. We are hugely grateful for the fact that our son has never been pressured to conform to a one-size-fits-all approach with regards to toilet training or anything else. He has had the space to reach milestones at his own pace, and as a result, the transition out of nappies has been stress-free and seamless. Most importantly to me, Harcourt celebrates children for who they are by embracing their quirks and individuality. I can see that the team have taken the time to really understand my son and that they genuinely like him and care about him. We have had the opportunity to get to know the staff well through the social events and celebrations that they host throughout the year and I observe them showing the same warm, sincere interest in every child they interact with. Thank you to the Harcourt team. We are so lucky to have you in our lives.
