This used to be a great shop when Allan and his wife ran it before the spar took it over. The shop is now ran with kids and the most rude girl in the world. Only reason people use this is for pure convenience. Once the new shop opens in new estate this spar will see a massive reduction in number due to ths above.
I took my puppy into the shop today she was wrapped in a blanket , she is a miniature daschaund and absolutely tiny!Just had her vaccinations and I didnt want to leave her alone in the car . Got approached by a young girl dark haired with hair tied back . She abruptly told me no dogs and that I would need to leave the shop . I’ve worked in hospitality sector for over 25 years and would have addressed this in a much more professional manner she was so so rude !!! As I left she muttered something under her breath which I said excuse me and her reply was “I’m just straight to the point”. My reply —listen to yourself ! You really need to hire or train certain staff here in customer service absolutely shocking approach to a customer. I’ve Been coming here for over three years now be lucky if a step a foot back in this shop now .
In the shop almost every day, my only complaint is staff, all are very well mannered except one! The young girl with black hair tied back and glasses, every time I’m in the only time I hear her speak is to say how much my shopping is, no hello, no thank you and no bye. I find her very rude and so does my partner, her customer services is shocking, and it costs nothing to smile! Honestly the most miserable person ever
I have on three occasions been disappointed in this shop. The first I entered with my 3 month old puppy in my arms to be told I wasn't to be served as they only allow guide dogs. I get the rule if he was walking or toileting on the floor but he was in my arms and I wasn't tying him up outside, I walked home with him had a really bad day and walked back to be told the drop was closed it was about 5 to ten. My 21 year old son was refused because he had no id on him. I get that but then the girl refused to serve me as she thought I was buying for him. It was for me in the first place. A nightmare shop
Took a walk(10am) to buy my morning rolls, bacon and some milk. Saturday morning probably the busiest time of the week. Arrived at shop to be told the shop is closed because they have a delivery. How crazy is that and what a way to drive your customers away. So disappointing.
Went into spar torhead on a at least 3 occasions we have experienced the worst service ever the girl who served us has absolutely zero people skills that’s a number of times we have entered the shop and experienced this! We spend a lot of money in the spar as it’s out local shop to where we live something needs to be done about this ASAP as my partner is refusing to be served by her if we come back to the shop manners cost nothing she has zero interest and people skills are non existent something needs to be done about this because I very much doubt that im the only one to experience this type of terrible service if a manager reads this I will be happy to talk about this!
