Gave John a brief with some images and he produced two designs for the sitting, both excellent! Sitting was a little over 4 hours and certainly didn't feel like it. Chuffed to bits with the result and a great cup of tea too!
John is such a friendly and really nice guy who takes pride in the art he makes and tattoos. I have had a few tattoos from John and I always go back as they are amazing and very appealing to look at. I would highly recommend for anyone who has thought about going.

I've been getting tattoos from John for many years now & I've currently got a 'work in progress' leg that's coming together really nicely. John is a creative genius, he can work in so many different styles & executes them all brilliantly. I've had quite a few portraits done by John & I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. I love that John can make sense of my madcap ideas and bring them to life. A true artist! Plus, he makes a good cuppa & we always have the best chats.

I found John through the Glasgow subreddit (he was overwhelmingly recommended) as my husband and I were planning a trip to Scotland (we are from the USA). John is a really nice dude, very talented, funny and he tattoos fast! He also introduced me to numbing cream (life changing). I really wish all of my tattoos could be done by him; the one he did is complemented almost daily and it is my favorite. Get tattooed by John, he rules (I can’t reiterate that enough). 10/10.
