We stayed here during our honeymoon visit to Bath, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the location was perfect. Our room had a charming, classic atmosphere, and everything was clean and very comfortable. Thanks to the hotel, we had a truly memorable stay, and my wife and I look back on it with great joy.

Decent stay in a good location in bath. Room is clean and cosy, bed and pillows were comfortable, nice touch having a coffee machine and homemade biscuits. Bathroom was clean and the products were great. The coffee machine did leak though. The stairs were treacherous too, something to note for anyone who is not very agile.

Our room was a second floor (1st floor in the UK?) Snug Double at the N Parade Passage location (as opposed to the location on the square nearby). The room was clean and a decent size for β€œSnug”, and the bathroom was clean and efficient (there was no outlet in the bathroom; not sure if this is particular to the UK or not). The staff was very pleasant and the two breakfasts we had there were really delicious. The mattress and room temperature were very comfortable. For women who wear makeup, though, the lighting in the bedroom area was harsh, and was non-existent over the sink in the bathroom. I had to contort myself into positions at the window to get some natural light. Communication before our stay was very good. The only complaint we have has nothing to do with the service, cleanliness, size of room, comfort, or anything else to do with the hotel itself, but we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the extremely loud and disruptive noise from the underground bar across the passage, every single night we were there (3 nights). And once the bar closed, the passage was filled with yelling and cursing youths. If you value sleep (and we were jet lagged, so not getting sleep was a real issue), ask for a quiet room either in the other building or away from the passage. Unfortunately, after the first night, we were unable to ask to be relocated as we were out for the entire two days and would have been unable to move our things, so we had to deal with the noise for three nights. We would probably stay in this hotel again but would definitely request the quietest room possible in either building. Otherwise, the location is great as far as convenience to everything (which is why we give it 5 stars in spite of the noise).

A beautiful hotel with a lovely staff. Breakfasts are made to order along with some fruit and yogurt. The staff was so kind, always asking if you needed anything. The rooms were very clean, well decorated, comfortable, and the location doesn’t get any better in Bath!

My cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!

What a wonderful boutique hotel. A fabulous location with wonderful breakfasts. Adrian and Monica made us fell like family. If this hotel is not on your radar for Bath it should be! And, it was a super value. We will definitely return to this little gem.

Our first time visiting the restaurant, and I have to say it exceeded our expectations. The food is exceptional. Our waiter recommended we select two dishes each, which gave us the perfect opportunity to try new things. The ravioli warrants a special mention! We were particularly pleased with the service which we both considered to be impeccable. A perfect evening. Thankyou

If I am ever back in Bath I will try and get a room here. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us with a minor room switch situation (no fault of the hotel). They really could have said no and instead found us a work around and we really appreciated it. The food at the attached restaurant is amazing! We ended up eating there a couple of nights because it was so good. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly and always go above and beyond. Rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. They have everything you can think of!! Have stayed here twice and would definitely return.

I lived in Bath and have been meaning to eat here. Gotta say the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Food portions are about right especially for the gourmet level of food. For the menu I’d recommend the rabbit and the salad. Ambience is on point, slow and good for dates or wholesome dinners.
