Stayed here previously & returned as the beds truly are giant pillows. However upon returning the house keeping has plummited. The first room we were allocated, after showering & getting into bed, I saw some bodily fluids splatted across the curtains next to the pillow. Manager allocated another room, no bodiky fluids on the curtains but on the plug sockets... i am too tired to move a second time, but sadly wont be returning. Fans, AC & bathroom fans all plastered in dust, along with strands dangling from the ceiling, if you pay to stay somewhere, personally I expect it to be as clean as my home. Also... pillow looked like it had been booted across the corridor.

A last minute booking for one night on 1st December. The room was large, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Proper blackout curtains and decent windows meant the room was dark and quiet. An iron and an ironing board were a welcome sight, as was the large shower. Staff were friendly and attentive with a good sense of humour. Nit picking would say that there is a £3.00 charge for parking, and for some reason Google Maps took me to a different hotel several miles away. All in all though, a good quality, well priced hotel and recommended.

Stayed at the Almondsbury for a couple of nights with my boyfriend and it was a lovely hotel experience. Very friendly staff who were always happy to help. We have stayed in quite a few hotels the last year and we had the best sleep. The heating wasn’t great I have to admit but for the price I’d very much recommend if staying in the Bristol area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a very nice room, large and clean. Julie and Hope were the most accommodating hosts we could have wished for. Helpful, polite and went above and beyond. We had a great night with them looking after us. Thank you!

I stay here regularly and having read some of the terrible reviews online I felt the need to comment. I stay 2 nights per week, most weeks. The staff are lovely.... the beer is decent (if not a little pricey) and the food is decent (really reasonably priced) The food is certainly no worse than I've had in hotels at twice the price. The beds are extremely comfy, room clean and public areas clean. It's not the Hilton.... but it doesn't pretend to be. And it's not the Travelodge either.!!!! Ive stayed in some rooms which appear dark and small....and some which are larger and bright. Guess its juts luck of the draw but I'm not sure thats any different to most hotels. I've stayed in several places locally and always end up back here... great food/ beer offers, comfy bed and friendly staff win for me each time.

The staff really make you feel welcome and go out of their way to be helpful and kind. My stay was for 8 nights spread over 2 weeks and not once did I feel I was putting them out. The budget rooms are exactly that, so if you can, spend a bit more for the refurbished rooms, definitely worth it!!

Beautifully decorated and equipped hotel. Ample parking lovely reception flowing freely to dining and chill area. Small section for games in an alcove chess etc. Bar in dining area. Wall mounted TVs for those interested. Evening meal of spaghetti bolognese and garlic foccatta excellent. Bedroom for the night very tastefully adorned and well equipped coffee and tea making facilities beautiful shower room .hairdryer plenty of mirror space and comfy well turned out bed. Breakfast equally as good serve yourself fruit cereals croissants cooked breakfast juice and hot drinks. Staff and manager really friendly and always checking everything okay. The service from the staff of this hotel is appalling - rude and abrupt. I had to reschedule a prepaid stay due to covid, resulting in my meeting being cancelled (the reason for travel), I tried to rebook (which was initially accepted by the hotel) but accidentally clicked the wrong date - I’d like to mention the day of week, price and availability was the same as the original booking. When contacting them I received nothing short of rude messages in reply. Leaving me out of pocket and a room booked I don’t need. It’s a shame as it looks like a nice hotel and I’d be travelling to the are regularly and this would have been perfect but they won’t be getting my custom that’s for sure. No excuse not to be polite (regardless of terms/decisions on rebooking) when working in hospitality in my opinion.

Nice clean hotel, well located, well sized rooms, with tea, coffee and even iron. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working properly and it was so hot in the room. Everyone was very nice and helpful, except for Shirley, one of receptionist. She seemed nice in the first instance, but passive aggressive when my husband tried to talk to her about the air conditioning. She kept saying she was not going to go on the roof to check the unit, but nobody asked her to !!!!!! She even raised her voice at him and kept interrupting him when trying to talk to her and in the end it was her who got upset!!!!

We chose this hotel mostly because it was near the clinic we needed to visit the next day and because it said on the website that it had air conditioning. As we were in a very hot August period, we definitely needed that. However, when we checked in, they failed to tell us that the A/C was installed but "not connected "!! As a result we struggled to sleep that night as the room was stifling. The bedroom was OK, but to note: no bedside lamps, just two main ceiling lights. The bathroom had recently been redone and was quite nice. Breakfast, "buffet all you can eat ", dried scrambled eggs, back bacon as tough as shoe leather, so not great...
