Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Rooms are disgraceful, no hot water in the shower and no water pressure, floors sticky and disgusting, beds vile, noise from cool room constant and loud all night. We were locked in (which we realised in the morning) and breakfast was more than an hour late. Would I recommend? Absolutely not!

The rooms are run down, showers have now water pressure, tvs don’t have signal, no WiFi for international travelers. Service had a good start, we were the only people staying in the hotel so I think we were forgotten and our breaky had an hour late start for our walk on the Cotswold… overall a very tired place

Bit of an odd one this. Stopped by one Sunday whilst doing the Cotswold Way. Only a couple of places open for food, so chose this place. Friendly bar lady who looked surprised when we asked about having an evening meal. There didn't seem to be any chefs or staff about as the bar lady set about opening up the kitchen and cooking our food. Atmosphere felt as though we had intruded into a drinkers bar. Had a little look around whilst waiting, and let's just say probably best to avoid the gents toilets unless super desperate. Looks like the whole place is a bit run down from what was once a very nice establishment. It looks and feels as though it's a drinkers hoval. To be fair, the food when it came was plentiful and very good.

Very friendly staff. A classic town centre pub from days of old. Stayed one night. Room not good. Insufficient water pressure for shower. Bedroom light didn’t work. Air on outside very noisy all night. Good breakfast.

I was running the cotswold way and ran out of water just outside Dursley so called time on the run.. very tired very muddy I made my way to the local town winged by a local lad who helped me on my way.. he recommended the bell and it was touch and go if there was any free rooms for the night. I walked in and immediately felt welcomed even though I was dressed in my running kit looking shattered and very hungry. They gave me a room right upstairs away from the weekend noise. Great welcome from the girls on the bar great bed for the night and lush breakfast in the morning so huge thanks for helping a tired ultra runner out. Highly recommended cheers girls. And huge thanks to the chef for our breakfast

Night 4 walking Cotswold way, immediately on arrival the young Polish lady behind the bar asked how she could help, she agreed to let me pay by card for everything after i finished eating & drinking later on in the evening, then showing me to my clean & airy room, with well equipped tea & coffee, she left me to have a lovely shower before going down to the bar for a excellent dinner, the next mornings breakfast was of the same standard!

This place is tired. Great service very friendly but the room needs a caring touch. The dust on the picture frame suggests this room has not had a full deep clean since lockdown so that’s a worry. The shower was simply pathetic, and the light switch is broke. The dirt on the lace curtain, which a simple wash cycle would clean suggests those that own this place aren’t checking it out regularly.
