   Such a charming and cosy cottage in a beautiful location. Spacious rooms and adjoining bathroom with a nice big bathtub. Host is friendly and cooks you breakfast in the morning. You can drink endless cups of tea sitting by the fire, take country strolls, mooch about the pretty town, and Bath is just a bus ride away. Absolutely delightful.

   "Like a home-from-home, just a bit tidier." April Cottage is an old Bathstone cottage set in a quiet hamlet and picturesque countryside. Accessed by single-track roads, April Cottage is about 1 mile West of the town of Bradford-on-Avon (shops, restaurants etc.), and the closest Pub. Ideal if you like the gently lowing of cattle and want a romantic get away far from traffic noise. There are footpaths across the local fields, if you fancy a walk. Bath is 10 miles to the West. Steve and Pat are friendly, relaxed and flexible, happy to go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Comfortable bedrooms with either shower or bath en-suit and a large but cozy log-fired living room / dining room make for the ideal weekend break. Highly recommended (except for the days I want to visit).

   The most amazing, peaceful stay at 189 April Cottage. The owner is so hospitable and friendly and greeted us with such a warm welcome on arrival. We were lucky to be the only guests (lucky for us but did make us sad that it wasn’t fully booked) but it meant we had free reign of the cottage so we lit a fire and chilled in the main room in the evening. The bed was comfy and it was so quiet all night! Breakfast was lovely and gave us the opportunity to get some recommendations for the rest of our trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

   Gorgeous guest house set amongst fields at the end of the lane. Farmhouse style with log fire make you feel cosy and at home. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms, although only one shower. Good choice for an overnight with friends / family followed by a trip into Bath the next day.
