Not very good. We paid for breakfast but weren’t notified at any point that they were ending breakfast early on 20.09.25 so we missed it. There were also numerous things missing from the room: no bathrobes and slippers, no complementary fruits, snacks, or Bristol cream sherry advertised when we booked. The sofa was also broken and the bed rolled around the room with any slight movement as there didn’t appear to be any break mechanism on the bed (which was on wheels). This was the start of our honeymoon and we paid a premium price for the room (over £200 for 1 night!!!) that we don’t think was worth it at all! To top it all, we’ve tried to contact the provider numerous times to chase on a refund we were promised by The Square Club reception for the breakfast miscommunication and haven’t heard back at all.

I called this hotel before booking to see if they had a lift and parking since we're traveling with an infant. The person on the phone told me they had a lift so I proceeded to book on the same phone call, but she failed to tell me that the suites we were booking were in a separate building with no lift. Our suite was on the top floor so we had to carry our baby, stroller, and all the associated luggage a baby requires up 6 flights of stairs. For the parking, our SUV didn't fit in the hotel's provided parking garage so we had to park on the street. The room itself was very cramped despite having a separate living room area and I felt like most of the decor was just for pictures and not exactly useful. For example, there was complementary pasta available in the kitchenette but no pot that would fit the pasta and no strainer. I called down to ask for paper towels or a dish towel and they told me they didn't have that and asked what it was for. The fridge was full of items for purchase so if you actually wanted to store anything in the fridge there was no room. I had to crouch to get into the bed because of the low ceiling (I'm 5 foot 3). I'm not sure how this is listed separately from the Berkeley Square Hotel, they're the same place. Despite all of this, the halloumi at breakfast was very good.

The suites were absolutely amazing! Paris and Hannah were amazing with us and made sure we were taken care of constantly! Location was amazing as you are really in the center of bristol. Warm rooms and high end luxury! Suite 3 has an amazing view! Thank you for such a lovely stay! Will definitely be coming back!!!

Stayed here over the weekend whilst doing some shopping. Lovely to have the additional space and it was really nice and quiet too (there was some 'city' noise, which I'd expect given it's location, but it wasn't too loud at any point!). The bed is super comfy and the kitchen area is so cute! I want one! Really enjoyed the projector as well - very unusual, but we enjoyed our 'mini cinema'! The team at the Berkeley Square were all really friendly also and breakfast was very good too. A great stay, will come again!

Very good location and nice design however lack proper maintenance; we checked in at a very cold winter night and was told the heating is set on a timer and it will be on quite some time. Actually the bedroom heating was not working for the first night, the next morning I woke up shaking. The windows are all old style. Although look really nice, they are poor sealing from the cold air. If you book this hotel, my suggestion will be: 1. asking for any rooms but the loft room. The floor is tilted and thus the bed is not even. One person will be struggling not to fall during the night. Hope the hotel will change the mattress soon. Another drawback of the loft is your activity is limited due to the height, it’s a personal sense of aesthetics of course. 2. After checking in, make sure all skylights are closed, we stayed 2 nights and found the sky lights in the living room were slightly open, that’s why I felt cold all the time. 3. To be fair, the shower and bath is very nice and clean.

Turned up at reception and they didn’t have a room for me despite pre-payment. They had booked me a hotel at an alternative location. Told me they’d tried to ring me, checked my phone and they had… 15 minutes before at 21:51. Have seen another review on here talking about the same thing. Didn’t complain, nothing to be gained and not like I’ll go back.
