Just got back from a 2 night stay. There are 3 fields to choose from, each have their own compost toilets housed in a small wooden shed. Toilet roll and sawdust was plentiful. Nice that you can choose where you want to pitch up. Good location for Ebborway gorge, wookey, Glastonbury and wells. Not far from the campsite is a beautiful viewpoint which is great for sunset. Unfortunately despite them having rules they are not adhered too by other campers and no warden at night. We had someone rock up at 11pm to pitch their tent so had both cars running with lights on doors slamming open and shut for almost 2.5 hours. The following night there were a couple of groups who also did not understand quiet time after 11pm. The fact that there are no washing facilities isn't great. This campsite could be amazing with some minor changes.

Good campsite for a great price, but the facilities are simple - there are no showers and the toilets are only compost toilets. I think this campsite is great for 1 or 2 nights, but not for 3 or more nights because of the lack of showers. However, this place is quiet and has a nice atmosphere, swings and plenty of space to play football and other games that require a lot of field space. There are also some good walks nearby, and the Mendip Communications Tower thingy near the campsite looks good.

I have camped here several times over many years. What might have been accepted during covid lockdowns or the reign of Henry VIII are different from what is acceptable now. Pit/composting toilets in theory are fine. Except when the building they are housed in makes your grandads shed look like the Sistine Chapel. Then, there's the deposits often left festering with flies enjoying a buffet. Other services are minimalistic. Communal water spigot. No showers or washrooms. Not even a grey water dump station. The ground is also prone to being waterlogged. Even when seemingly dry, it can still be very soft. I've witnessed several vanners bogged to their chassis rails. Occasionally, larger groups congregate and can be quite boisterous and drunk. Although in fairness, they will pitch in the far flung corners of the sizeable field. Over the years, there have been small incremental price increases. Nothing alarming or unjust. But, for very similar fees, there are sites with superb facilities, flushing heated toilets and showers, dump stations, water, etc. Ebborways Farm is not awful, but the vibe is that of Glastonbury after the event, when everything is broken, full, or just plain nasty. The best thing about Ebboorways Farm is the pub in the village. Overlooking the superb service and great food. Importantly, it has clean toilets, which you will be very grateful for.

Very reasonably priced camping field. Water, wood, toilets and very friendly staff who gave me free wood from his own stock as the other was too big for my burner. Fires and bbqs allowed, with firepits already spaced out in fields. Very clean composting toilets. Beautiful spot for sunsets and sunrises, highly recommended. Dog friendly with a lovely pub literally 2 mins away. I will definitely be back. Intended a 1 night stopover but ended up staying 3! Beautiful peaceful place.

Great little campsite with fantastic sun rises in a little village called priddy. Very basic with no showers but very helpful staff and plenty of wood to buy to burn in the supplied fire pits. Just a short walk from a fantastic friendly pub with amazing and well priced food and a warm welcome. Will definitely use again if passing.

Chilled out campsite with very few rules. Good for a weekend as there are no showers but you can have a campfire.

Me and a small group of mates went a couple of months back and I forgot to write a review. But it was great the staff were lovely and Chris made sure our booking in went smoothly. Nice and quiet campsite, of course there’s no power etc but it’s lovely and peaceful, definitely will be looking at going back!
