If you like the apocalyptic views then this is your place. You will start your journey by turning into Avonmouth Village off the motorway. This is alright you'll think, it's close to where I need to go for work. But then, as you get deeper into the village, you'll start to realise the massive mistake you have made. You may be lucky to only see one fly tipping instance but this time, you've turned down the road at the train station and it hits you. You see a massive pile of household waste, about 4 car lengths in length and about sofa height. You see someone urinating against the post box. You keep going and notice your hotel. The run down look makes you scared. The 10 people outside all looking at you as you drive past, only reaffirms this. You've nowhere to park your car, only double yellow lines, you'll get a ticket you think, but I've no where else, so you risk it. You decide it's worth a punt. You go in, and you are disappointed, it's exactly as you believed it was. Amazing what Photoshop can do isn't it? So you decide against it, get in your car and you got that parking ticket you expected, you go and park up next to your new friend, the fly tipping outside the hotel, and you will never speak of this journey to anyone ever.

Good pub, but they took the jukebox away and now forced to listen to the barstaff choices which are generally awful and repetitive.

Only used the bar area as I work in the area Did not sample the rooms as I live in Bristol Turned out to be a regular for me and the staff are both friendly and efficient The customers are friendly too and make my visit enjoyable

run down building. Don't get shown to ur room so spent 10 minutes trying to find the room. Room and was not the cleanest. Windows was dirty (black dirt) and rattled.plates and cutlery was dirty. Wouldn't stay again and certainly wouldn't recommend it. Definitely NOT worth £50 a night. Gave 1 star as The only good thing about the room was the bed was comfy.

Awful. Rubbish & empty water bottles behind the TV cabinet. Slept on my jumper, didn't trust the pillow case. Rude staff. Rude bar staff walking around in slippers. Will not be staying again. Worst experience of my life.

This hotel is perfect for the hard working who just need somewhere to sleep. Great bed, nice pint in the bar and very friendly staff. Kettle and fridge in my room. It's just what I need and will be staying here lots in the future.
