I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. The hygiene standards are non-existent; the carpet was visibly filthy, and we found used chewing gum and actual rubbish left on the floor from previous guests. It clearly had not been vacuumed or even checked before our arrival. The customer service was even worse. After complaining about the disgusting conditions, we were promised a full refund by the manager. I even have a message from confirming this, along with several pictures of the room's state, but they still refuse to honor the agreement. This is blatant dishonesty and a complete lack of professionalism. It is impossible to deal with any of the customer service team as they only reply using template emails and supervisors will not speak with guests. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

Seriously. 44 pounds for a double room. The sheets were clean, the room was tidy. It was quiet and very easy to find. There was even parking for a tenner. If i had paid a lot of money i might have complained a bit about the older appliances or the daggy decor. But you get what you pay for and for 44 pound a night my wife and i were extremely happy

I arrived late, but didn't see a member of staff during my short stay. However, the self service check-in was easy to navigate. The bed was comfortable and the room was tired, but clean. The carpets, especially in the communal areas (stairs and landing) are very old and grubby looking. This was very off putting and did detract from my overall stay. The location is excellent, but parking is very difficult.

Terrible hotel. The whole thing is grubby and dirty, carpets stained, mold in the shower, hand towels left on the toilet seat. The check-in process is terrible and left us outside in the cold and rain for 10 minutes because nobody mans the front desk and the WhatsApp check in wasn't working properly. Poor facilities, you get one thin pillow each which is very uncomfortable and made for a bad night's sleep. Only getting one star as the bed itself isn't bad, linen seems to be clean and you're able to park directly outside (for a tenner, which is ridiculous when you're already paying over £100 for a substandard room). Good location but not worth it.

This place is a scam. Booking.com has ruined our trust. Nothing is right in this place and doesn't even qualify as a hotel. The room was filthy, moulds in toilets, food crumbs on tables and sticky liquids on furniture. Whoever has a decent sense of hygiene won't stay in that room for 1hr. It's a torture to mental peace. The staff probably knows about this as it's self check -in, which means, no concierge service or even anyone to complain! Those poor guests who relied on booking.com seeing the 4* has noe fallen in trap and can't go out anywhere else like us! Finally, to make things worse, the fire alarm can't going off multiple times since 3:50am! We drove back home at 4am. We demand a full refund from booking.com for this horrible experience and giving false assurance of showing a 4* when this doesn't even qualify for 1*. Photos attached to warn others!!!

I paid £51 for a single room for a night, which was miles cheaper than any other hotel in Bristol, especially in a central location (the hotel is very well located). It was good value for money. The staff were available 24 hours and were very friendly and helpful and provided me a breakfast bag when I wanted to get away quickly in the morning. The room itself was fine, you can't expect the earth at that price point, the decor was tired but it was clean and the bed was perfectly comfortable. I would stay again if I wanted something cheap and cheerful for a night.

I stayed for 3 weeks (minus weekends) and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was perfect, I could just grab a bag with all sorts of continental goodies inside and go! The beds were comfy and shower pressure was great.

Firstly the two staff members who alternated on reception were lovely and helpful. The hotel left a lot to be desired. I was advised on arrival that part of the landing and stairs were wet and to avoid a certain route to my room. The room was a single and a little shabby. On leaving the room in the morning water was pouring through the ceiling on the landing and stairs. The carpets were soaking. In retrospect the hotel should have been closed due to the danger of the electrics getting wet. The radiator also made a noise all night and someone in the next room was slamming doors at 3am. The fire alarm went off at 7am but I think it was a false alarm. I was offered an upgrade for the second night which I accepted. It was a much nicer room with super king size bed. However, the first light in the room flickered and refused to come on. Whilst opening the curtains in the morning I noticed a broken window, which I suspect they had known about for some time. Plus the exterior window frames could do with painting and the windows were difficult to open and close. Both rooms had recent tiling in the bathroom which was good but both had water damaged bath panels. I feel justified in asking for a partial refund. All in all a little disappointing.

AVOID THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BOOKING GETTING CANCEL RANDOMLY I booked this hotel for 27Sep to 30Sep for my business trip online, made payment and got the Booking Confirmation email as usual. I turn up at the hotel on 27Sep at about 2:30pm. I approach the front desk, and the staff sitting there say he cannot find my booking record. I showed him my Booking Confirmation Email, and after awhile he found it, but only that the booking HAD BEEN CANCELLED, ON THEIR SIDE. I was puzzled as to how my booking, which got a Booking Confirmation Email, can get cancelled. The staff simply say the booking had been cancelled and that is nothing he can do. And when I am still confused and was wondering where am I going to stay for my trip, their POLITE staff said, and quote "...there are many other hotels around Bristol." Honestly I know OYO Flagship The Regency is "Affordable Stays" hotels yet I would never expect a standard like this. Normally I am not the type of person to complaint or leave negative reviews, but this time the experience is just beyond believe. I emailed and talked to their CS, and the reason I got it for the cancellation is "... due to unavoidable circumstances, the hotel cancel your booking". So basically they can cancel your booking without notifying you. After this case, I will avoid booking any OYO hotels in the future, and I will strongly suggest anyone who wish to book this hotel to consider whether you have a Plan B before booking here.

I read the reviews on various platforms so my expectations were not very high. However my experience was very good. One night in a Single room on the top floor with a shared bathroom with shower over. I can relate to some points in the reviews but for convenience and price it suited my needs. Cleanliness was good with a few marks on the carpet to be expected. Bathroom was very clean. Staff were excellent.
